NAME: IVAN BERK STATUS: AUGMENTED AND DANGEROUS

Hi everyone,

Some have you might have seen my last post featuring our new pomeranian puppy, Momotaro. Just last night, on the fourth day of him being home, he had diarrhea and we immediately took him to the vet. He’s been diagnosed with Parvo and Coronavirus. His breeders told us that he had been vaccinated, which turned out to be a lie. We were told he was bred at home, which was also a lie. His vet found a number marked on his belly indicating that he was purchased on auction at a dog market somewhere around Seoul. He’s probably lived in dirty cages with sick dogs his whole life. Now he’s fighting for a chance at the life he deserves. If he can pull through this, he can come home to warm blankets and a happy family who will love him forever. We are going to fight this. He’s currently hooked up to an IV at the vet and right now his condition is okay. It is expected to worsen on the 4th and 5th day of symptoms. After monitoring his condition at that point, the vet will be able to determine his chances. As he is currently still barking when they administer shots, he seems strong. Our little peach boy is a fighter and we are praying every second that he will have the strength to make it through. We have set up a youcaring fundraiser for those who can donate to help pay for his veterinary bill. As we are both young university students, we are having to pay out of pocket with what we make from part time jobs. Money is a burden but it is not going to keep us from treating Momotaro. We are not going to give up hope, and we are doing everything we can to give him a fighting chance.
