Sometimes I wonder what on earth is happening with children. Because why is a twelve year old telling me (in that context a grownup) that if they were as old as me they'd be drunk every single evening. Like yes I get that some parents let their kids take a sip of wine or beer, but why was that kid debating me on my favourite alcoholic drink and shaming me for not drinking. Like what happened to kids not talking about such things like alcohol and smoking in front of grownups. For fucks sake I know grown up people who are hiding the fact they smoke and drink at parties from their parents, why is this twelve year old telling me they want to get drunk. and when I bring it up with my dad that this is not normal behaviour he just said "yeah they're a bit weird that one."
