I can’t read Eren x Reader because:

b) a lot of you guys really mischaracterize him to the point I’m full body cringing

2. Eren isn’t an incel, he was dodging pussy like it was gonna kill him for years. And then it did kill him. He is a lot of other things though.

plug!eren / fratboy!eren / fuckboy!eren etc. are such popular themes for fanworks after s4 but that’s not what he’s like at all 😭 he’s not just muscles and the mask he wore to carry out his plan

Yes.

But also, no.

Eren finished in the top 10 in training, where intelligence is part of the criteria.

He also orchestrated everything in season 4, blindsiding everyone including his allies.

Not to mention he was bright enough as a child to attach his knife to a broom for an advantage against a grown man.

He’s also INCREDIBLY observant and adaptable in combat.

His issue is that he is so emotionally intense and impulsive that it masks how smart he really is. It’s part of what makes him so tragic.

Because in the end, he understands things all too well. But his emotions win.
