#Motherhood is so messy at times. It can make you go crazy, but the outcome of it is so beautiful. He’s having the time of his life at some of my worse moments. Take advantage of this stage. The messes, the crying, the no sleeping. Take advantage and enjoy it, even if it feels like it’ll never end. One day it all will end and we’ll be wishing we were right back to the day where our child kept getting into the dog food or kept throwing food everywhere WITH a fork right in front of him.
Embrace your curves. Keep working on yourself FOR yourself. 💖💖💖💖
Grind till you own it.
#mombod
After having my son I couldn’t wait to get back into the gym. I was so anxious to hear my doctor say it was ok. I hit the gym as fast as I could. I worked out before I got pregnant, but taking a while off, I felt a bit lost once I got back in there.
I set goals for myself that I’m still currently working on. It will be a year in the gym in February and I’m my strongest I’ve ever been. Starting off at such a low weight, I’m not lifting and squatting numbers I never thought I would be. It’s an amazing feeling when you see progress. As a mom, it’s tough. I feel so tired most days, I just want to sleep in. Being determined and keeping the same motivation I’ve always had is definitely a struggle, but I have so much support, it’s not as hard as I think it is.
All you need is the mindset that you can and will be able to do it. If you’re not happy with your body, change it. No matter what, you are beautiful and you are capable of anything.

Mondays
It’s Monday, which means work and school etc., don’t feel discouraged because the weekend is over. Feel lucky. Get up, eat some good breakfast, get the kids to school, do your daily to do list, but don’t forget to look after yourself as well. Take a walk or a long warm bath. Relax. Take advantage of the alone time you have.
We all have to take care of ourselves in order to take care of our husbands or children. Don’t forget to love yourself.
So beautiful 🌙🌿
There are moments that you’ll remember for the rest of your life and there are moments that you think you’ll remember for the rest of your life, and it’s not often they turn out to be the same moment.

Moms Nest
Hi all! My name is Marivel Ray and I’m a mom, student, wife and worker. I wanted to go ahead a give a little detail about what this page is about and also a little bit about myself. I am married and I have one son who is a year old. I am currently going to school and working on getting my BSN. I love to workout, cook, sing and dance and spend time with my family.
I want to be able to help any women out there who feel insecure about anything, whether it’s being a mom or lack of self confidence. I want women be confident in themselves and to understand that we are all more capable than what we make ourselves believe. I will be posting about basic mommy stuff, but also girl talk and fitness motivations for those who feel low. That’s what this page will be about.
During this process, I also want to work on myself and help myself become a better person. I’m hoping to get positive feedback from you all. Thanks!
Mom Power
How many new moms out there? I can’t only imagine, but I can also stress the amount of anxiety a new mom can go through. Not to mention the feeling of being overwhelmed. No one ever mentions how fast it can all hit. One day you’re pregnant and the next, you’re not. You will never be at peace because the first decade, you have a child making a mess and asking too many irrelevant questions to the point you want to cut your ears off. Followed by the decade when your child thinks they know it all and they start leaving the house and going to sleepovers, yes, you’ll be at peace, but not so much because even though they are gone, you will constantly be worrying about if they are ok or not.
Moms are capable of so much, if you are a new mom and you feel lost or confused or scared, sit back and just relax. You are doing great. There will be days where you feel like you’ve hit rock bottom, but you are far from it. Women do not know the amount of strength they have and the amount of power that they carry. We all need that little push to continue going and that’s ok, as long as you continue going.
