Character Posters → Charles Xavier, X-Men
You’re not really thinking about picking Rogers, are you? I am more than just thinking about it. He is the clear choice.
“For Erik anyway, I think, you know, Charles is kind of his best friend I would imagine. Even though they’re at odds a lot of the times, I think, you know, he really has a genuine sort of affection for him and respect.”
– Michael Fassbender
This post just makes me think about how much I love the way Fassy says Charles.
“I’ve been really lucky with the people that I’ve worked with. And I’ve been tremendously lucky with the types of characters that I’ve had to play but it’s very clear that there are less roles for women than there are for men. Particularly you look at this film (The Imitation Game) and there are two women characters in this film, the rest of the film is male characters. You look at the number of female directors, writers, producers, there are very, very few. Financiers, there are very, very few. There’s a lot of actresses. There’s a lot of brilliant actresses, there aren’t that many good roles for them. (…) Again, I’m very lucky but finding them is very hard. I get offered some great things but there’s a lot of people. It’s a very crowded pool and a lot of the scripts that are really great are coming to quite a number of us and you have to fight for it.”
The Last Stand // Dark Phoenix
Requested by @kajaono: “The ending scene of x men 3 is totally in parallel to the dark phoenix ending. X men 3 ends with Erik in this park, without a home and powers, and noone to play chess with. Dark Phoenix ends with Charles without a home and without anyone to play chess with but then Erik appears and offers him a chess match and a home.“
- F. Scott Fitzgerald
“No adventure is complete without a love story, and this tale has one. Platonic though it may be, from the meet cute, to the tragic separation, Steve and Bucky’s relationship has all the elements of a classic romance. Their bond stretches across half of the twentieth century. The loss of it gnaws at Steve throughout modern day, and it slices his heart in half when the Winter Soldier rears his tormented head. Steve and Bucky are each other’s soulmate, if you will, because no one on Earth understands what either of them has been through as well as the other does.” – Christopher Markus & Stephen McFeely (Captain America screenwriters)
Michael: The journey’s never ending.
James: *smile*

Most people are born with three names tattooed on their wrist: Their true love, their biggest enemy, and their greatest ally. You only have one name.

“the saddest people smile the brightest – all because they do not wish to see anyone else suffer the way they do.”
