They're kinda a mirror to Cali and Sol and the whole "divine purpose assigned before they were born" thing but if it was evil

Like Mars has the reoccuring rose image and the thing with his mum which is obviously a deep complicated relationship but nobody brings that up in fic. and honestly I think the reason people reduce them down to a Disney villain sterotype is homophobia but I don't think people are willing to discuss that yet.
