I found an old train ticket in this second hand book I bought a while ago.

I’m wondering who was so passionate about studying Romanticism on a train from Milano to Trieste on 11th april 1988. Were they returning from holidays and studying for an exam? Or were they doing research for their thesis?

I mentioned this before in another post, but also if you need help yourself or want to help someone else, they have a nifty little feature on here.

Simply type "suicide" into the search bar and a window will appear asking if you are ok and list some resources. @support also has a post about this as well.

Very useful for if you wish to recommend resources to a friend or need them yourself but don't want to use a search engine for any reason.

I've seen this post circling before and I want to say now what I said last time.

Reporting someone may not actually help them.

If you really want to help those who are suicidal, sit your ass down and talk to them. Message them. "I saw your post. I wanted to talk with you if that's ok. I know you could use a sign right now".

Reporting is robotic and to those struggling, having their space invaded by invasive 'hello user #01556906, we know you're feeling bad, here is the same shit we tell every person who finds themselves reported' - or finds themselves down a rabbit hole or put away in a mental hospital, etc - this shit can feel overwhelming and even exacerbate the problem.

Give it a personal touch or back off and leave them in their own hands. Just the opinion of someone who's been in that mental state for years, myself.

Or don't. Do whatever you want. I said my piece.
