Here's my last papercut of 2018. I made it as a thank gift to a friend of my mother's who keeps bees and, despite having never met me, passed on a generous amount for me to spend on supplies to support my art practice. It feels so incredible for someone to believe in you and your work in this way. Despite the fact that 2018 was often a time, I feel so lucky and grateful for all of the people who have supported me this year. Not just financial support, but positive or constructive feedback, kind words, opportunities, community, a hug when times were hard.
