T,
Please in the future unless someone is physically hurt, do not call us after 7:00pm. What you said, could have been relayed succinctly, rationally, earlier in the day or this morning. Thank you for your apology, however, it does not make up or erase the damage in our relationships or well-being.
From what you said last night, the only new information was that K gave Lauren a urine specimen for a Rx of Adderall which K does use for ADD. K told you the truth. The problem is that Lauren uses the same Rx as K. The Winter Park Recovery Center does not want her to use Adderall anymore and she is worried that she will need Adderall's help while in her new job. She had planned to use that urine to get a Rx for K and her to share. Thank God she finally thought better of it and did nothing.
I've spoken to the WP Recovery center and so has Lauren. They have her permission for you to call and get answers to some of the questions that you have. They will not tell you everything you will probably ask, but only the most pressing questions you have regarding her drug use and urine collection. You can call them this morning at 407.629.0413. You can check the website if you like to assure yourself that it is bonafide. I hope that will rest your fears.
Please know that we see Lauren and the children frequently. After your call, we went right over to Lauren's house and feel assured that she is not using now. Also, the drug tests she has taken all show Suboxin, which would not show up in K’s urine. I don't believe a urine test was done at the center on Thursday or Friday though I'm checking on that.
I think that it is in the best interests of the children that they go back to their schools tomorrow. I am through with my appointment at the WP Recovery Center around 5:00. Given the traffic at that time, I could meet you in Ormond Beach to pick them up around 6:30.
I'm sorry about your dad. Kelly and Chris filled me in a bit over Christmas. This must be really hard on all of you. I hope having the children there was some relief from the anxiety of all of that.
Love,
kitty
