THIS, ABOUT THAT!!! The other lesson to be learned from the barbarianism that is going on in Baltimore: Educated leaders of multi-cultural neighborhoods (Black, White, or Other) need to understand that there is no “sacred” bond because of the mutual color of their skin. There is no allegiance to color! Barbarism defies color boundaries and when opportunity knocks, will rule the day. As long as the moral decay of this country continues, and people are allowed to be uneducated and unemployed and government is willing to give “everything” away, without constructive interjection, there will be a prevalent mob mentality ready to turn the streets of large urban communities into chaos; NO EXCUSES NECESSARY! Blaming the police has become the mantra of the poor and “allegedly” oppressed, but reality tells us that most violent interaction with law enforcement has become a standard- fare excuse to burn, loot and riot. The leaders of these “peaceful” protests must be held accountable for their stupidity in believing that their “right to assemble” will not be hijacked by insurgents to further perpetuate a criminal agenda and ends up being nothing more than a clever ruse to behave like savages. They must be held and subjected to rule and regulation in regard to where and when these peaceful protests can be scheduled. It used to be that you needed a permit to “march” and assemble; alas, some genius decided that people could be trusted to behave en masse and we can all see how well that has played out. The lesson that has yet to be realized: The streets, when governed by law enforcement (Police Departments) are bound by laws and are subject to local and state oversight! The streets, when governed by the enactment of military personnel (who DO NOT necessarily have knowledge of state law) will be ruled by a "dog eat dog” mentality. In other words, there will be little or no accountability in dispensing justice. As a society, leaders of these "communities in turmoil" better learn the difference, before a real ”bloodbath” occurs! --- Martin T. Mc Donnell.
