Beauty becomes interesting when it stops behaving like decoration.

This portrait was built from contrast: black paint, gold leaf, pale roses and direct eye contact. Every element was deliberate, but the face had to remain stronger than the styling. Otherwise, it would be only an effect.

I photograph women through atmosphere, character and visual tension.
