akechi being jealous of the way akira can relate to others and makes friend,, oh boy,,,  i have alot of feelings about all of akechi’s relationships with people, especially those who “adore” him for his title and the way he presents himself to the public are all very shallow relationships and the feelings associated with them make him feel almost sick. he wishes he could connect with people the way akira seems to be able to but is too blinded by his own desires and hatred that he cannot see ways he can.

insolence wreathed in pretentious consideration, how haunting enigmatic irises to be, as if he, a sinner’s proxy, could confess in sincerity.  it’s a masquerade he’s conscientious of, to preserve that benevolent imitation, cordiality his weapon to brandish, minatory, sharpened to lustrous points. through the veil of steam should their eyes meet, rancour lurid in gazes alone, the laughter that ensues is euphonious, lullabies of the ethereal, amusement; a loaded artillery.

but this confessional shall not be the altar upon which he lays, salvation feigned promises of grandeur, of acknowledgement, acceptance. the detective’s gaze wanders, head canted gently towards the slates of glass, decorated now by rivulets of dolour. should even the dismal skies lament his piteous state, lost and alone, perplexed, driven to the precipice of madness, in his chest, should he foster the same virulent feelings of hatred towards that sympathy.
