ICE Spent 700% More on Weapons. What They Bought Will Terrify You.

Donald Trump is arming his masked immigration agents with increasingly lethal weapons.

President Donald Trump is reportedly spending millions more on weapons for his masked militia descending on American cities—who will now have access to “guided missile warheads.”

Independent journalist Judd Legum reported Monday that between Trump’s inauguration and October 18, Immigration and Customs Enforcement has increased weapons spending by 700 percent compared to the same period last year. In the last nine months, ICE has spent a whopping $71,515,762 on purchases of “small arms, ordnance and ordnance accessories manufacturing.”

"Anti-immigration" politics are largely a gigantic con played by the "anti-immigrant" faction on everyone else. They don't want to stop immigration. They want to stop any path to citizenship, or any other form of regularization, or anything else that translates to "these people have a legalized status, which would inevitably come with some sorts of rights and protection."

That's why whenever some sap puts forward a proposal to seriously crack down on employers who hire illegal immigrants, despite the fact that this would solve the "problem" basically overnight, the proposal goes down in flames, no matter how red the state. That's why Trump just ordered ICE to stop conducting raids in industries that he and his constituents like. And it's why ICE is making it a point to deport people who are here legally and/or are going to immigration hearings, to make sure as many immigrants as possible - if you can't legally outlaw them, make sure they know the law isn't real and won't protect them.

Immigration restrictions are best understood not as a way to keep immigrants out but as a way to ensure that there will always be a large underclass of unpersons in this country that aren't protected by the law and that you, especially if you're an employer, can do basically anything you want to.

Put more straightforwardly, what the anti-immigration side wants is to have slavery back.

Can we talk about how badass and witty teenage Natalie is?? A man laughed in her face and underestimated her and she was like: bet ... and fucking provided for the whole team throughout the 19 months whenever she could.

I had the exact same experience the second time I looked at this picture as the first time. I was looking like "what is this green line? Like suddenly everything is OK? It's not. Racists are still trying to push us back to 1619. Nothing has been fixed. We still need to fight. Hard!
