the whole concept of Club 27 feels weird to me ever since I turned 28 but for a lonely and melancholic woman like me the fact I outlived Janis Joplin feels haunting, I can't even listen to her music anymore without thinking of it to the point I get sick

i think that the younger generations are really going backwards because what do you mean tik tok brainwashed teens are finding bruce springsteen and especially his song i'm on fire creepy? i'm shocked that even such a simple song is above their skill to comprehend. they really think he's singing it to a little girl as in a child? they have no idea that back in the day calling people "little girl", "daddy", "mama" was a thing, especially in such genre of music? it's one of the most beautiful and haunting songs to exist and that bunch of idiots are throwing tantrums whenever someone uses that song in their video. when you try to explain it to them, they say you're defending an abuser.
i am officially done with the younger generations. they're a lost cause.
