I feel like we don't talk enough about what Vecna really did in episode 4.

He showed up when Will was in danger. Killed the soldiers who were menacing him. Told him he was weak. Then left him to fend for himself with the demongorgons.

Then Will's powers got awakened and he killed the monsters Vecna's style.

I know not everyone saw the play. But this reminds me of 2 scenes.

1. Henry telling Joyce she nice but weak. And to protect the people she love, she needs power.

2. Patty telling Henry that the MindFlayer is manipulating him so he uses his powers more. They are a poison and he does not need them.

Why did Vecna leave Will? Because this wasn't him taunting him. No, Vecna was teaching him something. He wanted Will to use his powers. It's a trap. But why...

I don’t think it’s just the darkness I think it has something to do with the blocking of the sun spirit’s energy something something magic something moon something. Like how Katara is a more powerful bender depending on the moon and the tides. Plus I’m pretty sure firebenders tend to be weaker at night, but not completely powerless.

Waterbenders get their energy from the moon and their power rises and falls with the tides/lunar phases.

An eclipse is a big ball of water energy covering a big ball of fire energy, meaning the moon is 2x strong against the sun.
