yunjin did not mean to become spider-woman
okayâthat was a lie. she absolutely meant to become spider-woman
what she didnât mean to do was get stuck hanging upside down outside your apartment window at 2:13 a.m., mask slightly crooked, hair falling out of her bun, and one web line suspiciously attached to what looked like a very expensive wind chime
ââŚyunjin?â
yunjin froze
slowlyâvery slowlyâshe turned her head. Inside the apartment, framed by soft lamplight and wearing an oversized hoodie, stood you. awake. beautiful. confused. holding a cup of tea like this was a completely normal thing to witness
yunjin considered pretending to be a decorative spider
ââŚhi,â she said
there was a long pause
you blinked once. twice. âwhy are you outside my window?â
she opened her mouth⌠closed it
opened it again. âi can explainââ
âyouâre upside downâ
âi can explain that tooââ
âyouâre in a spider suitâ
ââŚthat part is actually the easiest to explainâ
you set your tea down very carefully. âyunjin, itâs two in the morningâ
âyesââ
âyouâre outside my third-floor windowâ
âyesâ
âyou are dressed likeââ you gestured vaguely, ââa superheroâ
yunjin brightened. âspider-womanâ
you stared at her
she smiled upside down
ââŚyouâre seriousâ
âveryâ
another pause
then, to yunjinâs complete surprise, you walked closer to the window, crouched slightly, and peered at her with intense curiosity. âis it⌠comfortable? being upside down?â
she blinked. âuh. blood rushes to your head a little, but you get used to itâ
âhuhâ
âand the suit is breathableâ
âimportantâ
âand i have snacks in the utility beltâ
your eyes widened. âyou have a utility belt?â
yunjin, eager to impress, twisted slightly and pulled out a slightly squished chocolate bar. âemergency rationsâ
you covered your mouth, tryingâand failingânot to laugh. âyouâre unbelievableâ
her felt her heart do a very unhelpful thing
âthank you,â she said, a bit too softly
you leaned against the window frame, smiling now. âso. spider-womanâ
âyesâ
âdo you fight crime?â
âyesâ
âsave people?â
âyesâ
âeat snacks upside down outside your crushâs apartment?â
yunjinâs brain short-circuited
ââŚi didnât say that last partâ
you tilted your head, grin growing. âyou didnât have toâ
she made a noise that could only be described as a distressed squeak
âokay, in my defense,â yunjin rushed out, âi was on patrol and i justâhappenedâto swing by and make sure you were safe and also maybe see your face andâthis sounds worse out loudââ
you were laughing now. full-on, bright, warm laughter that made her forget gravity entirely
âyou patrol my building?â you asked
âspecifically your window, yesâ
âthatâs either incredibly romantic or deeply concerningâ
âcan it be both?â
you considered that. âiâll allow itâ
yunjin beamed
then her web creaked ominously
both of you looked up
ââŚis that supposed to happen?â you asked
âno..â
the web snapped
yunjin yelpedâand immediately shot another web, catching the edge of the window just in time. she swung forward slightly, now much closer than before. like, very close
close enough that she could see every detail of your face
close enough that your breath hitched
âoh,â you said softly
âoh,â yunjin echoed
they stayed like that for a momentâsuspended between outside and inside, between ridiculous and something a little more
you reached out, gently tugging yunjinâs mask down just enough to reveal her eyes fully. âhi,â you said again, quieter this time
she swallowed. âhiâ
âyouâre a disaster,â you murmured
âi knowâ
âyouâre also⌠kind of coolâ
yunjin lit up like a city skyline. âreally?â
you smiled. âreallyâ
there was a pause
then yunjin, because she had exactly zero survival instincts when it came to you, blurted: âdo you want to go on a date with spider-woman?â
you raised an eyebrow. âam i dating you or your alter ego?â
ââŚtwo-for-one deal?â
you laughed again. âtemptingâ
yunjin held her breath
you leaned closer, just a little. âonly if spider-woman promises not to lurk outside my window like a lovesick raccoonâ
âno promisesâ, she said directly
you flicked her forehead
âOWâokay, okay, i promise!â
âgood.â your smile softened. âthen yesâ
yunjinâs brain officially left her body
âyes?â
âyesâ
she whoopedâforgot she was attached to a webâswung slightlyâovercorrectedâand bonked lightly into the window frame
you winced. âgracefulâ
âiâm usually cooler than this,â yunjin mumbled
âi doubt itâ
ââŚthatâs fairâ
you pushed the window open a bit more. âcome inside before you injure yourself again, spider-womanâ
yunjin hesitated. âare you sure?â
you extended a hand
she took it
and just like thatâsuperpowers, web-slinging, midnight chaos and allâyunjin climbed into the apartment, heart racing for entirely non-hero-related reasons
as you handed her a proper, non-squished snack and sat her down on the couch, you shook your head, smiling fondly
âyou know,â you said, âmost people bring flowers when they like someoneâ
yunjin grinned. âi can bring flowers next timeâ
you tilted your head. ânext time?â
she leaned back, a little smug now. âwe have a date, remember?â
you laughed, soft and bright. âwe doâ
yunjin paused
ââŚcan i still keep the suit on?â
you looked her up and down, pretending to think
ââŚonly if you keep the utility beltâ
âdealââŚ
much betterđĽ°
Fall For Your Type âš Megan Skiendiel
⍠playgirl megan skiendiel x sorority soccerplayer blackfem!reader
Megan misses one of your very important games, and now she's fighting to get you back.
⡠angst profanity slightly suggestive towards the end
7.1k words
Megan was treating the night like any other night, her noise-canceling headphones on, listening to her playlist. Christmas break had just started, so she was all cozy in bed.
Her headphones mustâve been working too well to hear the loud knocking on her door that she didnât notice until the song she was listening to faded out, making her hurry and rush over to open it.Â
When she opened the door, she didnât expect to see a teary-eyed y/n staring her in her face. ây/n wha-â she tried to say before she was forcefully pushed away from the door back into the middle of the room.
Y/n walked in the room and closed the door behind her forcefully, making it echo, âWhere were you, Mei? You missed my game.â She sniffled.Â
âY/n I-â Megan tried to speak again, but y/n wasnât going for it.
âIt was important, you do know that, right mei?âÂ
Megan was too scared to say anything, so her response came out as a mumble. âYes, I do know tha-â
âThen why werenât you there? Why did I have to look out to the crowd and not see your face? Why did I have to keep wondering if you were even coming? You didnât even have the decency to tell me you werenât coming.â She rambled, maintaining eye contact.Â
âDonât you know that my parents were there, right? I wanted you to meet them.â
Megan gulped hard. That was one of the reasons she didnât go to the game. She was going to give an excuse that she accidentally overslept and missed the game, but she obviously couldnât do that anymore.Â
She stayed silent, not knowing what to say, which left y/n to do the talking.Â
âBe honest, why are you with me?â Y/n asked, a tear rolling down her face. âDo you even want to be with me, or have you been playing with my feelings this whole time?â
Megan shook her head, âNo⌠y/n I would never want to do that.âÂ
âWell, it feels like you are, and itâs hurting me megan, youâre hurting me.â
oh no, she used her name. megan knew she was in some deep, deep shit now.Â
Thatâs when y/nâs tears started becoming consistent and flowing down her face. Megan wanted to step forward and wipe them away, but she was too scared and frozen in place to move, knowing she was the cause of them.
âIt feels like I'm the only one trying here, and it's getting exhausting. If you still wanted to be the school's playgirl, then you shouldâve let me know that at the beginning of this.âÂ
Y/n scoffed, biting her lip. âI knew I should've listened when people said I shouldn't have tried anything with you, but being the person I am, I gave you a chance. What a mistake.âÂ
Meganâs face dropped. y/n thought they were a mistake?Â
âYou think weâre a mistake?â she mumbled, tears starting to form in her eyes.
âI donât even know what we are megan.âÂ
From that moment, it was just silence. Neither of them knew what to say or how it got to this point.Â
âI think we should stop.âÂ
Meganâs eyebrow subtly lifted, her eyes narrowing in confusion as she hesitated. âStop what?â she asked, her voice trembling slightly.Â
âWe should stop this.â Y/n signaled between them. âI think we should break up.âÂ
Those six words. y/n just said the six words anyone would dread when theyâre in a relationship.Â
Megan shook her head so fast that it was about to come off. âY/n, noâÂ
âYes, Megan, this obviously isnât working out, and I donât want to waste my time wondering if you feel the same or if you're just playing me for a joke.â
Megan stepped close to y/n, putting her hands on her waist. She was taller than y/n by a few inches, so she was towering over her. âI would never play with your feelings as a joke.âÂ
y/n looked up to meet Meganâs eyes, who was also teary. âAnd I would like to believe that megan, but you havenât shown me that.â
Megan put her forehead on y/nâs and closed her eyes. âBaby, you have to believe me, please believe me.â
âThank you for the five months megan. Iâll never forget it,â she moved her forehead away from Meganâs and went to give her a long, pressing kiss on her cheek.Â
She moved her head back after the kiss, seeing the tears that were now coming down Meganâs face, wiping them. âNow you can go be with whoever you're meant to be with,â she whispered.Â
After that, y/n moved Meganâs hands off of her waist andÂ
turned around slowly to leave. When she got to the door, she gave Megan one last look before opening it to leave, closing it with a loud thud.
Megan was stuck in a daze in the middle of the room. She couldnât grasp what had just happened; her mind wouldnât let her.
She fucked up big time. She couldâve just told y/n how she felt, and she wouldâve understood. She didnât want to be with anyone else; she wanted to be with y/n, which brought her to her next move.Â
She had to follow y/n right now. She couldnât let five months go to waste. This moment was probably one of the first times where she couldn't lose the girl. Not today, not ever.
Yes, sheâd admit she was a player at times, but when she met y/n, all that childish nonsense flew out the window and sank deep into the bottom of the ocean like all the other lost stuff.
She quickly put on a different set of clothes as fast as she could, searching for her shoes that she had thrown somewhere in the dorm.
âUgh, where are they?â She searched in panic, feeling y/n slipping away every second she wasn't there to apologize. She was too occupied to realize she was basically tearing up the whole room.Â
At the same moment, her roommate, Daniela, walked into the room and stopped at the door when she saw the state the dorm was in.Â
âWhat the⌠what is going on? And why were you not at the game?â She looked over all the mess in disbelief.Â
âY/n just left, and she just broke up with me, and I have to follow her before I lose her forever, and I canât let that happen.Â
Danielaâs eyes went wide, and she shut the door. âY/n broke up with you? What in the hell, Megan?â She rubbed her forehead. âThat girl is so sweet, maybe even too sweet for you.âÂ
âYou do know that game was very important to her, right? like sheâs been talking about and waiting on it for the longest.âÂ
âYes⌠I did know that,â Megan said frantically, still searching for her shoesÂ
âMegan, oh my god, this is not the time to act like you donât care. Youâre supposed to be her girlfriend. Youâre supposed to show up for her. Her parents were there, it was the last game of her season, and they won the championship.âÂ
That made Megan stop moving altogether, and she turned her head over to look at Daniela. âThey won?âÂ
Daniela nodded in response. âMegan, she wanted you to meet her parents. She wanted you to be there.â
Meganâs jaw tightened, and she stood up off the floor. âYou donât think I know that dani, thatâs the whole reason I didnât go.Â
Daniela pulled her eyebrows together in confusion. âWhat do you mean thatâs the whole reason you didnât go? So you missed not going to her game and missed meeting her parents on purpose? Megan, what is wrong with you?â
âEverything is wrong with me, Dani,â she shouted, stepping up to Daniela. I canât give that girl what she wants or needs. My heart canât take all this, and my mind doesnât move fast enough for me to feel everything Iâm meant to be feeling. If I met her parents, that means it becomes real, and she deserves someone better.Â
âFirst of all, thatâs not something for you to decide by yourself. How do you even know if she wants someone else? Iâm not sure if youâve been paying attention, but that girl loves you, Megan. doubt what people told her about you; she gave you a chance. She looks at you like youâre the only person she can see, and you blow it all up for what, because youâre scared?Â
Daniela just read Megan like a book, and she hated that.Â
Megan gulped. âIâm not scared.â
âThe hell you are.â Daniela chastised Megan, hitting her on the arm. âYouâre an idiot, skiendiel. Are you seriously willing to lose the girl you love because youâre scared of it being real, or do you still want to be labeled as a playgirlÂ
âI do-â Megan started, but was cut off by Daniela
âAnd donât lie and say you donât love her because from any point of view, anyone can see that you do.â
Megan groaned and rubbed her face. âWhat am I gonna do, Dani? I messed everything up. Iâm scared.âÂ
âWell, the first thing to do is hurry and go after her and explain why you missed her game. Then you probably have to beg on your knees for forgiveness.â
âThatâs what I was planning to do, but I can't find my shoes,â Megan explained as she began scavenging the room again.Â
âMegan, are you seriously looking for one specific pair of shoes when you have a rack full of them? I think this situation has you losing it because you need to go.âÂ
âYouâre right, youâre so right,â Megan said, going over to the shoe rack, quickly grabbing a pair and not caring which ones, putting them on.Â
âBye, Dani,â she shouted as she was going out the door, not hearing Dani wishing her good luck before she was down the hallway.Â
What Daniela failed to mention is that it was raining, so she was soaked while going as fast as she could on her sportsbike, definitely going over 100mph, and praying she didn't get pulled over or that she hydroplaned.Â
She felt like an idiot, an airhead if you must.
This nonchalant facade she was still trying to put on herself because she was actually so scared of being in love, and now she's possibly lost the girl of her dreams and her life over something that was totally her fault.Â
She should've actually tried harder to get over her fear, but who was she kidding? She was too caught up in trying not to fall deeper.Â
What was she going to do if y/n didnât forgive her? Did she ruin everything forever? She kept playing scenarios over in her head, and she didnât like any of the outcomes.Â
Then all the memories of their dates, the secret make outs in the library or in a storage closet filled with custodial cleaning products, the sneaking into her sorority house at night after curfew, and the late night study sessions interrupted by meat always trying to kiss y/n playfully annoying her, started to infiltrate her mind.
She didnât know what was wrong with herself or why she even thought of treating y/n in any way that y/n felt hurt because of her. Itâs like self-sabotage was her forte, and if it were a class on it, she would have an A.Â
The sorority house was getting closer in her view, and the closer she got, the more her stomach started to churn, and the bile in her stomach started to rise into her throat.
She got in front of the house, turned her bike off, kicked the stand out, took off her helmet, put it on the handle, then quickly got off the bike and speed walked up to the door, giving it three knocks.
One of the sorority sisters opened the door, surprised to see her. âMegan! Come in, itâs freezing and raining out here.Â
She hurriedly got into the house and felt immediate warmth.
âItâs nice to see you. We missed you at the game,â the sorority sister said as she shut the door.Â
Megan scratched her head, reminded that she had missed an important game. âYeah, something happened, and I couldnât come,â she lied. âUm- can I see y/n?â
âOh? She didnât tell you?â
âTell me what?âÂ
âShe went home for break. Sheâs flying back to North Carolina with her parents tonight. I thought she wouldâve told you.âÂ
The small hope that Megan had was gone. How was she going to apologize if y/n wasnât even in the same state as her?Â
âOh,â Megan muttered. She had to call Daniela, and she had to call her now before she broke down. âDo you mind if I step into the bathroom real quick? I need to call someone.
âNo, yeah, itâs not a problem, go ahead. The one at the bottom isnât working, so youâll have to go upstairs, and it's going to be the first door on your right.âÂ
âAlright, thank you so much.â
Megan's clothes and hair were wet, and she felt disgusted as she hurried up the stairs; her leather jacket squeaked every time she moved.Â
She finally got to the bathroom and shut the door behind her, pulling her phone from her jacket pocket and went to Daniela's contact, pressing the call button. It rang a few times before Daniela finally picked up.
Mei, how did it go?
Sheâs not here daniÂ
what do you mean sheâs not there?Â
she went home for break⌠you donât think itâs because of me right?
I donât know megan, itâs hard to say ifÂ
megan felt like she was about to start crying again, but she sucked it upÂ
dani I have to go to her
you have to go to her where? to north carolina? megan are you crazy?
for her i might just be
megan you donât even know where she lives at, you donât have an address
I know but her sorority sister might.
megan heard daniela scoff over the phone.
wow y/n has really got you whipped
shut up, iâm getting on the first flight tomorrow morning.Â
you already brought the ticket?
well no, but iâm about to
this is the first time i'm seeing you devoted in something, maybe you have changed skiendiel.Â
I would hope so. Iâm hanging up now bye dani
bye megan
She guessed what people say is true, âyou donât know what youâve got till itâs gone.âÂ
She stayed in the bathroom for a few minutes, calming herself, then went downstairs and asked the sorority sister if she knew where y/n lived, and, thankfully for Megan, she did.Â
The next thing she did was book the flight and a hotel in North Carolina, and she was going to have to be up bright and early tomorrow morning.Â
This was probably the earliest Megan had ever woken up to catch a flight in her life. She stayed up all night packing and was tired out of her mind.
Daniela had to double-check with her to make sure she had everything she needed and didnât forget anything important.Â
Going through TSA was a breeze, and she didnât have any problems with that, but rather with the fact that the flight was delayed by two hours, meaning she really woke up early for no reason.Â
So to pass the time, she just re-watched one of her favorite shows while thinking about what she was going to say to y/n. She had an unsettling feeling in her stomach all night that wouldnât pass, and she still felt like she had to throw up.Â
She was really going all the way to North Carolina to apologize to y/n. She couldnât ever imagine herself doing that for any other person other than her family.Â
Like a prayer, there was an announcement over the intercom.
Good morning, passengers. Our flight seems to be early rather than delayed this morning, so now itâs time to announce that we are pre-boarding flight 42A to North Carolina. We are now inviting passengers with small children and any passengers who need special assistance to begin boarding. Please have your boarding pass and identification ready. Regular boarding will begin in ten minutes. Thank you.
This was it. The final moment before she was in the air on the way to y/n. It was real, and it was happening, and she was terrified, but her doing all this had to mean something, right? She really hoped it did.Â
By the time it was time for regular boarding, she already had all her stuff ready and was getting into the line. She prayed to whoever was listening that sheâd get her girl back.Â
The flight had landed, and Megan could feel the four hours of the flight from the crick she had in her neck. The first thing she did was order an Uber, which would take 15 minutes to get there, and then she texted Daniela.Â
I landed đ
Good job soldier now go get your girl đŤĄ
Megan smiled and clicked off Daniâs messages, only to be met with her home screen, which was a picture of y/n kissing her cheek. Y/n hadn't been gone for that long, but to Megan, it felt like it had been an eternity.Â
She made her way to the baggage claim to pick up her suitcase so she could be outside when her Uber arrived. She canât even remember all that she packed because she was so worried about everything that was going on.
When she got outside, her Uber was pulling up and parking. She asked the driver if he could pop the trunk so she could put her suitcase in there.Â
She finally got situated and was in the car and ready to have a silent ride to her y/nâs house until her driver started talking to her.
âSo what brings you to North Carolina?â he asked curiously.
Megan didnât really have it in her to have a conversation right now, but she didnât want to be rude.Â
âumm⌠Itâs a long and embarrassing story,â she replied.
âWell, we have an hour before we get to where you need to be going, and so Iâm all ears.âÂ
She couldnât believe she was about to tell a stranger about her love life; this had probably got to be another one of the lowest moments of her life.Â
âMy girlfriend broke up with me, and Iâm here to apologize.âÂ
âOh,â the driver muttered. âYou mustâve done something really bad, huh?â
âYeah, I um- I missed a very important game for her, her parents were there, and everything.â Talking about this again was making Megan upset with herself.Â
âDid you have a good reason?âÂ
Meganâs eyebrow raised in confusion. âDid I have a good reason for what?â
âDid you have a good reason you didnât go to her game?â the driver questioned.
Megan hummed and thought to herself. She didnât have a good reason at all, other than being scared.Â
Wow, I really am an idiot
She cleared her throat and started talking. âI was scared of meeting her parents. I know itâs not a good reason, but it was feeling too real, and I got scared, but I ended up losing her.Â
The driver was silent for a minute before speaking. âThis reminds me of me, I lost someone I loved too.â
Meganâs eyes went wide. She didnât say anything about love. How did he know that?
âI didnât say anything about love⌠ho- how did you know?â
The driver chuckled. âKid, you flew all the way to North Carolina for her; in no way is that the act of someone who isnât in love.Â
Megan had been read for the second time, and this time by a stranger. Was it really that obvious?Â
âAnyway, I was in the same predicament as you. I was young and in love with this girl, and it had been going good until I fucked it all up because she wanted me to meet her family.â The driver explained. âJust like you, I was scared and a pussy, and she ended up breaking up with me.Â
Now, Megan was confused. Did he just call her a pussy, or was he calling himself one? She didnât know at this point and just kept listening to his story.Â
âMy biggest mistake was not fighting for her like youâre doing for your special lady. I wanted a life and family with her and missed out on what couldâve been the best years of my entire life, now Iâm a damn Uber driver.â He chuckled, shaking his head.Â
âKid, youâre doing the right thing, even if youâre still scared, youâre doing something that I never would have done, and youâve got guts, and youâre so brave. so, so brave.âÂ
brave.Â
That word stuck to Meganâs mind like glue. She never thought of herself as brave; she always felt like a coward who couldnât express her feelings, but now she was feeling a smudge of confidence within herself that would probably go away fast, very soon, but at least it was there for now.Â
âThank youâŚâ Megan had realized she had never asked the driver his name.
âJerry,â he responded.
âThank you so much, Jerry.â
âItâs no problem, kid.âÂ
The next thing Megan knew, the car was slowing down and stopping in front of a house.Â
 itâs been an hour?Â
They mustâve been talking so long that she didnât even realize it.Â
Jerry turned around in his seat. âAlright, kid, weâre at your destination, and remember, stay brave, and you've got this.â He held out his hand for a fist bump, which she appreciated, bumping their knuckles together.Â
He popped the trunk so she could get her suitcase out, and after that, they said their goodbyes, and Jerry's car was slowly disappearing in the distance.
Now that Megan was thinking about it, she shouldâve maybe gotten situated at the hotel before coming to y/n's house, but in the moment, she really wasnât thinking.Â
She was scared out of her mind. She was actually there, but she forgot everything she was going to say. Then out of nowhere, the bile in her throat decided it was time to come up, making her retch into the grass, emptying everything that she had eaten or drunk.
That went on for a minute or two before she felt okay enough to walk up to y/nâs porch with her very heavy suitcase. Her heart was down into her stomach, and she was trembling.
okay mei you got this
She hesitantly and slowly brought her hand up to knock on the door, and let it stay an inch away from the door before gaining the courage to knock on it.Â
Nothing happened for a couple of minutes, then she heard footsteps from somewhere in the house. Then she was face-to-face with y/nâs sister manon. Megan recognized her because y/n had a picture up of both of them in her room.
Manon didn't look very happy, which made Megan gulp loudly.Â
âMegan?â she questioned, confusedly. âHow the hell are you here?â
âYou know me?âÂ
âOf course, I know you, you donât think my sister talks about you? Oh, and she also told me what you did, you shit head. Did you fly all the way here from Cali?âÂ
okay she deserved that
âYe- Yeah, I did, I came to apologize.âÂ
âSo let me get this straight. You missed my sister's championship game; she broke up with you, so you came all the way from cali to north carolina to apologize to her, and you expect me to let you in.
Megan was distraught and honestly even more worried. âI me- meanâŚ" You donât have to let me in, I- I just want to talk to her properly,â she rambled.
Manon started to laugh at the state Megan was in. âOkay, calm down, Megan, even though Iâm not happy with how you treated my sister. I believe you have good intentions since you flew all the way here. Iâm not going to stand in the way of my sister's relationships, so whatever she decides to do, thatâs up to her.â
âHer room is upstairs at the end of the hall, and donât tell her I let you in, tell her it was one of our brothers or something.âÂ
Megan started nodding quickly, thankful that manon wasnât too angry at her.Â
manon moved over to the side and let her in. She decided to leave her suitcase on the porch since she probably wouldnât be in the house for long.
âThank you, Manon,â Megan whispered, giving her a small smile.
Manon nodded in response. âGood luck.âÂ
Megan was getting dangerous dĂŠjĂ vu from last night as she was walking up the stairs. Her heart started beating triple times again, and the bile feeling was back, and she was praying to god that she wasnât about to throw up again. She stopped at the top of the stairs, closed her eyes, and caught her breath to make the feeling go down a bit. She breathed in, exhaled, and then kept walking.
When she reached the end of the hallway, she was face-to-face with y/ns door. It was decorated with her name and some old pictures of herself. It was one picture where she looked so precious, it made her smile.Â
She was staring at the picture a little too long, almost forgetting why she was there. She shook her thoughts away and knocked on the door.
âCome in,â she heard y/n shout from the other side of the door. She hadnât heard her voice in hours, and it honestly sounded like music to her ears.
She let out a breath before putting her hand on the doorknob, twisting it, and opening the door. The first thing she saw was y/n sitting up on her bed watching something that was on her TV. She hadnât acknowledged Megan yet and thought it was manon coming to check on her.
âmanon you jus-â she stopped her sentence when she realized it wasnât manon standing at her door. âMeganâŚâ she questioned, her eyes furrowing together like she had just seen an unknown creature enter her room.Â
She paused what she was watching and got off the bed, keeping a distance away from her. âWhat are you doing here? How did you even know where I lived?â
âI uh⌠asked one of your sorority sisters, sorry if that was invasive i- i just had to talk to you. I was trying to last night, but then I found out you came home for break.âÂ
y/n crossed her arms around her chest. âYeah, sorry, I mustâve forgot to mention that,â she responded high-key being petty. âDid you fly all the way here to tell me you wanted to talk to me orâŚ?â
This was already not going wellÂ
Megan thought in her head. She needed to explain, and she had to hurry before y/n kicked her out of her house. She closed the door behind her and walked an inch closer toward y/n, but still kept a good amount of distance.Â
ây/n thereâs no words I can say for you to forgive me, but Iâm going to try anyway, and I hope youâll hear me out,â Megan spoke, trying to stop her voice from quivering. Iâm sorry if I say something wrong, as I'm saying this, and I'm going to try to be as honest as possible, which is something I shouldâve done since the beginning.âÂ
Y/n sat back down on her bed and gestured for Megan to sit down too. Megan tried to keep her composure, but her leg was bouncing with nervousness, betraying her.Â
âWell, go ahead,â y/n said, nodding towards Megan to start talkingÂ
She rubbed her clammy hand on her pants and began speaking. âI want to start out by saying Iâm so, so sorry, and I know thatâs not much saying much, but I really am. She admitted, looking down at the floor, too afraid to look y/n in the eye. âI donât want you to think I was playing you at all. Iâm serious, I would never do that to you. Youâre the best thing that has ever happened to me, y/n.â
Megan could see that y/n was looking at her from the corner of her eye, but she couldnât bring herself to look back. not quite yet.Â
âI was so scared y/n when you told me you wanted me to meet your parents. Iâve never gotten that far in any of my relationships to meet anyoneâs parents. and thatâs not an excuse for how I made you feel.âÂ
âMegan, look at me,â y/n said sternly. Megan was scared and stubborn, so she didnât, which caused y/n to shift closer to her, grab her chin, and turn her face towards her so she could look her in the eyes.Â
âIf you felt that way, then why didnât you tell me?â she whispered. Megan could hear the hurt in y/nâs voice, and it was about to make her cry. Never in a million years did she want y/n to think she was afraid to come to her about her feelings. âWhy did you keep it bottled in? I wouldnât have made you meet them if you werenât ready megan.â
She could see tears forming in y/n's eyes. âAnd I know that, but my mind took over, and then I started overthinking.â
âWhat if they thought I wasnât good enough for you? What if I messed up and made a fool of myself? What if they thought you deserved someone else? All these questions flowing through my brain all just got too loud and made me miss out on something very important to you, and I know I canât take that back.â
y/n scoffed, shaking her head. âMegan, these are things people are supposed to talk about when theyâre in a relationship,â she said as she caressed Meganâs cheek with her thumb. âIt doesnât matter to me if my parents thought I deserved someone else when all I wanted was you.â
the word wanted. past tense Â
so y/n didnât want her anymore, or was she otherthinking again?Â
Y/n was up here comforting her when it shouldâve been the other way around. âYou said I hurt you.â
âWhat?â y/n mumbled, taking her hand off Megan's cheek to wipe her own tears.Â
âLast night, when you were in my room, you said I was hurting you. I really did, didnât I?âÂ
y/n wasnât going to sugarcoat it and nodded. âI was really hurt when I didnât see you in the crowd. Not wanting to meet my parents didnât mean you didnât have to come. I won my first championship, and you werenât there, Mei. I needed you there. I felt so proud of myself, and I wanted you to be there to see it.âÂ
oh megan was really the worst idiot ever.
âIt made me feel like the relationship has been one-sided this whole time, and you were playing me, which made me feel so stupid.â
Megan shook her head and brought her hands to each side of y/nâs head. âYou're not stupid, baby. It's all me, Iâm the stupid one, I shouldâve communicated my feelings to you, thatâs all on me, you didnât do anything.âÂ
She wiped y/nâs tears this time. This was just a teary-eyed mess. âI want you, y/n. Not anyone else,â Megan confessed. âI want the good and the ugly; I donât care, just as long as youâre there.â I love you, okay?â Her voice started breaking at this point. âEven if you donât believe me, even if you think Iâm just saying it to say it. I, Megan Skiendiel, love you y/n l/n, and nothing will ever change that. Even if you decide to be with someone else and I have to deal with it, Iâll still love you.âÂ
y/n believed Megan, she really did, but she needed some time to process her thoughts. âI know you do, Megan,â she sniffed, grabbed Megan's forearm, and kissed the middle of her palm. âI- I need time and space to process all of this and get my thoughts together before I can say anything.â
Megan nodded in understanding. She stood up from the bed, y/nâs eyes following her the whole time. âIâm here for three more days after today at the Comfort Inn if you want to come and talk, and if not, thatâs okay too. I understand.Â
y/n nodded, it felt like that was the only thing she could do without speaking because her voice wouldâve failed her. Megan cleared her throat for what felt like the millionth time today. âIâm gonna go. bye y/nâÂ
y/n wiped her eyes once more. âBye, Megan,â she whispered.Â
Megan knew she probably shouldnât do what she was about to do, but forget it if it was over and this was her last memory with y/n, then she wanted to make it count.Â
She leaned down and captured y/nâs lips into a kiss, catching her off guard, bringing her hands to y/nâs face, which made y/n bring her hands to Megan's neck. The kiss was slow, y/nâs lips were soft like silk velvet bed sheets. She will never forget how intoxicating kissing her feels. y/n strawberry scent was infiltrating her nose, and she knew she had to stop before she got too carried away.Â
She broke the kiss and rested her forehead on y/ns, closing. âI love you,â she whispered, hoping y/n really believed her.
âI know,â y/n responded, out of breath from the kiss, even if it wasnât rushed. She moved her hand from Meganâs neck to her cheek. âYou should go, Megan.â
 âI know.âÂ
With that, Megan leaned up and backed away from y/n. If that was really her last time getting to kiss y/n, then it was worth it. No more words were said as Megan left y/nâs room and made her way out, thankfully not running to anyone in the house.Â
She booked an Uber, which came in less than ten minutes, which she very much appreciated. She was ready to lie down after everything that had just happened.Â
As she suspected, thereâs been dead silence from y/n ever since that day in her room.Â
Megan found out she had a few family members in the state, so she had been spending her time there catching up with them, looking out for a text from y/n every once in a while, but deep down she knew it wasnât coming.Â
Now it was her last day in North Carolina, and she was leaving that night. y/n not contacting her was probably the answer that it was over, but she still had the decency to text her to let her know it was her last day in NC.Â
But that was on her; she had dug her own grave, and now she was lying in it, which she was fine with.
She was currently packing while listening to Mine by BeyoncĂŠ on the speaker she had brought when her phone buzzed. She quickly went over to her phone on the bed and saw it was only a message from Dani.
Any word from y/n?
no
i think itâs over daniÂ
donât say that so soon megan there could still be a chance she comes
dani i leave for the airport in three hours shes not coming
iâd still have faith
i still have a little of my dignity left so iâll take that. iâm gonna finish packing iâll see you later on tonight
bye meiÂ
She mightâve lied about having any dignity because she definitely didnât feel like she had any left in her. At least she was at peace now with telling y/n everything about her feelings and letting her explain.
She was startled by the continuous loud knocking at her door, which was probably one of her family members wanting to say bye before she left
âOkay, okay, Iâm coming, hold your horses.â She hurried up, got off the floor, opened the door, and it was none of her family members.Â
it was y/n
Megan was frozen, her mouth hanging open in surprise. ây/n?â she asked, not sure if she was seeing things.
Y/n didnât let Megan get another word out before inviting herself into the room. âI know you werenât going to leave me without saying bye, skiendiel.â
Megan shut the door behind her, confused about what was even happening. âI- I thought you wanted space, and I texted you that I was leaving tonight.âÂ
âI know, and I really thought you knew me better than that, you idiot.âÂ
âOkay, Iâm so confused right now, so you didnât want me to text you, or did you? Wait⌠how did you get here? How did you know what room I was in?â Megan was so lost that a compass wouldnât even be able to help her.
âI texted Daniela for your room number, and Manon drove me here, and oh, be thankful for both of them because if it werenât for them, I wouldnât be here right now.âÂ
âTell me, do you love me?â y/n blurted out of nowhere, surprising Megan.Â
Megan narrowed her eyes. Was this supposed to be a trick question? She didnât know, but her heart was beating faster by the second, and she didnât want to say anything wrong.
She swallowed slowly. âWhat? You know I do y/n I-âÂ
y/n slightly shook her head and cut her off. âThat's not what I asked you to tell me megan. I said, "Tell me, do you love me?âÂ
Megan wasnât sure what she was getting at all. âYes, I love you, y/n. I donât understand whatâs going on right now,â she explained, nervously biting her lip.Â
Y/n's eyes were starting to fill up with tears like water in a pool. âYou canât kiss me like Iâm the only girl for you and then leave three days later like itâs nothing. You canât make me feel like Iâm melting like butter and leave me here.â
That's when her tears started flowing down her face, and her nose began to run. âI want to believe that youâll never hurt me again. I want to be able to trust you, and I want you to feel comfortable coming to me about your feelings. Can you do that for me? Do you have the courage to be with me? Or are you going to break my heart again, Mei?â y/n questioned, searching Meganâs face for any kind of answer.Â
Megan perked up hearing the word courage. Did she have the courage? she thought to herself. In the beginning, sheâd admit she didnât have an ounce of courage in her, and if she said she did back then, then sheâd be lying, but now it was different. The girl she loved was standing in front of her, asking if she had the courage to be with her and not break her heart. She remembered what Daniela told her to do, and she was going to do it.Â
She walked closer in front of y/n and got down on both of her knees, one by one. She shakily grabbed both of y/nâs hands, latching their fingers together. Her hands were clammy and rough compared to y/n's delicate ones. She looked up to stare into y/n's eyes, her face being tearstained.
Megan wanted to make sure she kept eye contact with y/n to show her sheâs being serious. âI meant what I said that day in your room. I only want you. baby, only you. Iâll apologize as many times as you want me to until you think Iâm worthy enough for you to forgive me.â
Megan's lips started trembling, and it looked like she was going to be the next one to start crying.Â
âYouâre asking me not to break your heart again, and I- I canât promise that wonât because I donât want to lie to you, and whoâs to say you wonât break mine, but all i know is that iâll try to be the best version of myself just for you and you only because youâre like all of my five senses. Youâre the only one I want to wake up to every day for the rest of my life. You gave me a chance, and thank god for you every day. I want to have a family with you and maybe have three kids.â Megan chuckled through her tears when she saw that y/n was smiling.Â
âI love you, yn, and if youâre willing to take a chance on us again, Iâll prove to you that youâre the only one for me, and I promise to also come to you about my feelings, no more keeping them bottled up.âÂ
They were both in tears. Y/n's hands came down on each side of Meganâs cheeks, wiping away her tears. She was staring so lovingly into Megan's eyes that Megan felt like bolts of lightning had just struck through her. Without warning, Y/n leaned down and pressed her lips firmly against Megan's. Megan took a deep breath, her chest rising as she deepened the kiss while standing, careful not to break it.Â
She tapped y/n leg to signal for her to jump, which she did, wrapping her legs around Meganâs waist and putting her arms behind her neck, still not daring to break the kiss. The kiss was messy, almost like they hadnât seen each other in years.Â
After a few minutes, they broke the kiss so they could get some air, both out of breathÂ
âSo, three kids, huh?â Y/n questioned, raising her eyebrows, smiling with all thirty-two of her teeth showingÂ
âYeah,â Megan responded cockly, âall girls⌠You gonna give them to me?âÂ
Y/n pressed a finger into Meganâs chest. âSlow your roll, play girl, I still havenât forgiven you yet.âÂ
âOh, right⌠So⌠do you forgive me? Did I prove it to you?â Megan questioned, her chest heaving.âÂ
Y/n started pretending she was thinking. âHmmm, I donât know mei, maybe you can also prove it to me in another way too.â
Megan tilted her head up. âOh, is that right?
âYep, but only if you promise to stay for me?â
âAlways,â Megan muttered, leaning in to kiss y/n, taking them over to the bed.
a/n : I hope you guys enjoyed reading!!!

Hi! Could you write a Idol!Sana x Fem!Idol!reader in which the reader is a soft masc female idol who debuted a couple of years before Twice. The reader, who is a year younger than Sana, is a charming introvert and slightly curly short hair and Sana has had a crush on the reader since her Sixteen days. The members of Twice and the members of the other group help her to get closer to the reader to become friends, and then Sana ends up confessing in the reader's house and at the end maybe a little of them making out with an ending suggesting that things are going further because they end up dating? Like fluff but not too cheesy and kind of suggestic at the end. I'm sorry if it's too specific or too long. Thank you anyway! I prefer to remain anonymous, so maybe i would be this emoji âď¸ if you dont mind?? Thank you! :)
