mason fontaine.
“Ugh, being a Legilimens with a bunch of sexually active young adults is torture,” Mason whined, before he watched his best friend practically make the girl go nuclear red. “You are the biggest dork this school has ever seen, I can’t believe you. Now she’s thinking so loudly and frantically she might just pee her pants.” Soft laughter emanated from him as he stretched out his limbs, yawning once he looked at her through one eye. “In about half an hour, so we’ve got a bit of time to spare. My dad was so not happy I chose Healer Studies, he was practically foaming from the mouth, quite a sight to see indeed. Wonder what would happen if I told him I was dating a boy, total lie, but just want to see how much anger one little man can hold in his body.”
“M,” Mary’s gaze is coated with half-baked sympathy, knowing that his words probably aren’t meant to bring literal torture to mind, but it does - it does, and she knows the horror fills his mind just as it fills hers. She offers a fake smile to him and pops out her hip. “I take pride in being such a dork. Did I ever tell you that me and Rem have declared ourselves king and queen of the dorks?” She blinks away the thoughts, smiling as she drops back down into the seat opposite him. “Awesome. Glad we could squeeze in this vitally time together, M.” She rummaged through her bag as she giggled at Mason’s analogies. “Chocolate?” She offered up the Honeydukes bag, smiling broadly. “I imagine his heart would simply stop beating, dearest. Just --” Mary makes a croaking noise and drops her head back, pretending to be dead for a few moments before she bursts into laughter. “The anger would do him in.”
