Well, in fact, it is. Let me elaborate ...

The show literally tells us in the first 1:15 min of season 1 that Robby's the main character by using a very simple dramatic device.

We see Robby on his way to the PTMC, while Robert Bradley's Blackwater Surprise's "Baby" plays in the background. First as the scene's soundtrack, then through Robby's headphones. The music stops when he takes them off as he arrives at the Pitt.

We're literally in his head. We see what he sees. We hear what he hears. You really can't get any closer to a main character than that.

I know he had a lot going on, but for Mr. Abandonment Issues, it probably felt good as fuck that Abbot relentlessly kept trying to reach him. Robby was a total dick to him and it didn't matter, Abbot did not care. In the moment it was, "He won't fuckin' leave me alone." But deeper than that? He won't leave.

trinity and dennis in the breakroom on shift where trinity has persuaded/bullied dennis into letting her flick through his grindr with him, and when a clear pattern in dennis's taste in men appears, she laughs out loud as dennis's face turns red.

"huckleberry! all these guys are utter bears, dude! I didn't know you only liked your men old, fat and hairy! though to be honest, if their dick sizes are anything like their belly sizes, you're being fucked good, dude!"

dennis buries his face in his hands after swatting at her to try and keep her gleeful exclamations quiet. yes, he likes the biggest bears of the lot, so what? unbeknownst to him, a certain big, hairy attending had been listening at the door.

when robby heard trinity practically yell out that dennis liked large, older guys, his heart swooped in his chest. hes certainly older and bigger than dennis, and he's mighty hairy too. by the sounds, he might have a genuine chance with the man of his dreams..

maybe tomorrow he'd size down his scrubs to show off his belly and keep his arms bare to show off the dark hair on them, to see if any pretty young interns floated his way... he'd certainly be ready to catch one..
