Mary began life at the GM plant in Arlington, TX as a 1967 Chevrolet Caprice 4-door sport sedan in beautiful Nantucket Blue. These days, however, she's the only 100% accurate Supernatural Replica Impala in Kansas, and lives between Lawrence and Kansas City. Her restoration and Supernaturalization was completed April 2016, and she's currently available for conventions, events, private photo sessions, and whatever else you can think up. Mary also had the honor of appearing in the Supernatural "Fans" documentary, found on the Season 10 DVD. Look for her around the five minute mark, still sporting her old baby blue paint.

This weekend has been awesome! Thanks @marytheimpala for coming down and making my little fangirl heart so happy!

We stopped at Michael Rooker, Michael Cudlitz, and Josh McDermott’s booths today. My husband has been giving me crap for YEARS about letting him grow his hair out into a mullet: he even tried to enlist Josh to talk me into letting him do it. That backfired hilariously. Josh was like, “I’m famous and I still get shit for the hair.” My husband’s boss was behind us in line and thanked him for telling my husband that the mullet was a terrible idea since they work in a bank. Josh *chases us down* to tell my husband, “You didn’t tell me you work in a bank and you want a mullet? Dude, no! Maybe if you worked in the oil field, but not a fucking bank!”

I took my husband’s boss with me to James Marsters’ panel, and it was hilarious. I told my husband that he might have to worry about me running away with him.

Best weekend ever! I always love Con weekend.

In the meantime, Mary's getting ready to head south! Wizard World Tulsa is coming up this weekend, and being Okies, we're pumped to finally bring Mary back to our hometown and show off ;)

Just a note: there will be several other movie/TV cars there, but we'll be on our own at the other end of the con floor, at Booth #927.

Also, fun fact: Mary was built in Texas, but she lived in Oklahoma for Chuck knows how long. That's where Rick found her, and there was still red dirt in the trunk when we got her.

Two events in one day is a new record for Mary... Last Saturday we hit up the Slash and Bash Horror Film Festival in Topeka, then went straight from there to Wamego for the Kansas Paranormal Research Society’s annual Spooks and Spirits event for our first ever paranormal investigation. We got to snoop around the beautiful Columbian Theatre, Wizard of Oz Museum, and a couple other very old buildings with our EMF detectors and flashlights, but no ghosts were harmed, I promise ;) 

Thursday’s our Supernatural Season 12 Premiere Party in Lawrence, though, and we’re pumped! If you’re in the area or feel like a pilgrimage is in order, it’s totally free and happening at a 100-year-old theater. Check out SPNKansas.com for details!

These are all from a photo shoot we did in Lawrence, KS, on 9/11/16, and it. Was. Phenomenal. 

Between the amazing photographer, awesome Fem!chester cosplayers, and the setting (that’s right, us Kansans got home turf advantage), I couldn’t have asked for a better way to spend an afternoon or a better result. I’m already coming up with ideas for my own shoot now...

Mary had a ton of fun yesterday at a professional photo shoot all over Lawrence <3 A couple fans borrowed her for their awesome cosplay shoot, and as you can see, the locations were incredible.

What did I do today?  Oh nothing.  Just a trip to Olathe, KS with @treefrogie84 and @solsticekitten to meet @marytheimpala and take goofy photos with her.  

(One of which was pantsless AF.  I hope we made @kimrhodes4 and @officialbrianab proud.) 

I also picked up some yarrow, palo santo, and a new knife at Enchanted Gifts (which hosted her), because hey, opportunity.  Plus, weaponry was 30% off…
