Here’s my preset, folks~! This was inspired by colors that I typically prefer in my sims edits and I really wanted to make something that would make colors rich and pop without washing out skintones. Also!! The changes are very simple with only changing colors so it should be really good with performance!! I play with both versions and they don’t drop my FPS at all~

The difference between the GAMEPLAY and CAS versions: 

Gameplay is more bright, saturated, better for actually playing, and taking indoor/outdoor screenshots. Basically it’s optimized for gameplay lighting.

CAS is better suited for creating sims by being more true to skintones and colors with Create a Sim lighting. 

I recommend having them both and switching when you are in different modes like I do! (but of course you can do whatever you want)

Hey! Just a quick reminder that Cinco de Mayo is not widely celebrated in Mexico, nor is it Mexican Independence Day. Cinco de Mayo commemorates the Mexican army’s victory in a battle against the French in 1862, in what is known as the Battle of Puebla, and it is only celebrated... well, in Puebla and in the US by white people who would probably yell at me to go back to my country if they ever caught me speaking Spanish in their presence.

Now if y’all still want to honor Mexico in this day, you might not be aware of the train that collapsed on Mexico City during the night on May 3th due to governmental negligence, which left several people gravelly injured and some people sadly passed away. They were all working class, and they don’t have the resources to pay their medical bills, and the government is not being helpful at all with their situation. Here’s an article about it and how you can help.

I haven’t seen anything on here (simblr mostly) about this but Daniel Prude, a mentally ill black man was lynched by my local Rochester police department on March 23rd. He was taunted, ‘restrained’ and had a mesh BAG placed over his head while he was handcuffed and naked on the cold street. This happened before George Floyd’s murder and police body cam fotage was apparently just obtained by his family.

hey guys, i would really appreciate if you could help out with this. My boyfriend is in a tough position. His mother overdrafted his bank account and they got into an argument. his mother basically told him to move out, and that he can find his own rides to work from now on. He has a new job and likely if he misses work he will get fired. He has no money. Uber rides are about ~15 bucks a piece where he is and he would need two a day to get to and from work until his next paycheck next Friday (the 14th).  Please help in any way you can, even a few bucks or a reblog helps.

I went a little overboard with this one and ended up with 4 branches, but hey, variety is the spice of life! If your Sim dreams of being a Hotelier, then this is the perfect career to choose!

You can use MC Command Center to promote your Sim (From a computer in-game, click Cheats>Career>Promote), OR if you have UI Cheats Extension you can right click on a job icon in the career panel to promote or demote your Sim, OR the cheat below if you don’t want to complete the objectives.

To pause a level, and keep your current job title, and have MC Command Center, you can “freeze career” under Sim Flags.

Cheats available: CAREERS.PROMOTE HOTEL

There are 5 levels available after which you can choose from 1 of 4 branches. Then you have another 5 levels to play through! There are wayyy too many descriptions for me to post here, so I’ll leave you with the job titles instead!
