Modders and cc creators whom are the saving grace of our games can totally still receive tips etc, just as a thank you for their content and what they do! Financial support is still viable just without us directly paying to receive early access. I 100% agree with everything that you’ve already worded perfectly.
that is true! i think that tipping people whose content you like is really important if you do have more than enough means for yourself (and want to, obviously)
not to like. keep relating this to how this is applicable to me but i will say that right now i stream on twitch and i would continue to do it if i made no money off of it. but i will say it’s so much easier to continue streaming at the quantity and quality i do (like 3 days a week with a DSLR camera, testing out new art supplies) when i have a pool of money that came from streaming that i can use to replace broken equipment/accessories, but new supplies. in that way i think tipping people you enjoy is very important! the game is expensive, computers are expensive. things break.
so if there’s a creator you want to keep up content at the same quality and rate, definitely consider tipping the people you enjoy right now!!
