The End of Midnight: Mayonaka Punch Episode 12
And one day it finally ended, Mayonaka Punch came to an end, in its 12th episode.
The episode begins with a lot of suspense, because the MayoPan team had to do a last Stream while they were being chased by hunters.
Meanwhile, Live-sama was missing and Masaki was dying of nerves.
One by one, each member of Mayopan fell.
The only survivor was Masaki.
Let's remember that she was coming from a hard emotional blow, she had isolated herself for 3 days.
But the situation was so extreme that he had to go out to confront the enemy.
Technically, it is the first time in the history of the Mayapan channel that Masaki appears on camera.
Masaki was chased by the hunters, until she reached the terrace, the place where Live and Masaki had their first confrontation.
A reflective moment occurs here.
The mysterious hunter asks Masaki why she decided to be in front of the camera.
Masaki answers that it is for the streak of one million subscribers.
The hunter asks again why SHE decides to be in front of the cameras.
She answers:
At that point, she gets over the trauma of the bad comments. She just wanted to be a popular girl and have everyone enjoy her content.
Simply, Masaki uploads videos because she wants to and nothing more, nothing less.
All this mental weight made her feel like someone evil who did not deserve to be in front of a camera.
At that moment, she decides to jump off the building, falling into the void and being rescued by Live-Sama.
It seemed to be a normal happy ending but...
Yup, It was all a joke by the Mayapan team with other Newtubers.
AI It never existed, the hunters were the same Newtubers, the mansion was being remodeled and the deadline of one million subscribers is still within a month.
And of course, Masaki didn't take it very well.
In the end, it's a worthy ending for the anime.
I deduce that Masaki's friends realized the mistake they made and that's why they decided to participate in the prank.
Since the Prank was intended to have Masaki appear in front of the camera (and have views and subs)
With much pain, it is time to say goodbye to this beautiful Anime.
Let's hope there is a second season, since they haven't reached a million subscribers yet.

I won't give spoilers yet, but those who saw the end will understand what it was all about... Very crazy.
I wish there was a 2nd season, who knows, maybe they'll give it a chance.

From the first episode, I loved this anime.
I love Masaki's character, I mean yeah, she's grumpy... But Masaki's dedication and discipline is amazing.
She really puts in the effort to improve her videos, and we witnessed her opening up, especially with Live.
I don't know how the anime will end, the writers can go the easy way which is a happy ending.
But I sincerely hope that Mayonaka and Live end up together❤️❤️

Who is AI, and why is Live's situation really sad?
After the strong argument between Live and Masaki, Live decides to leave the mansion and her sisters.
Many would think that Live simply isolated himself, just as Masaki did.
But no... It's much worse
A few years ago, Live had met AI.
AI was in the hospital, therefore, she had a terminal illness. Live continually left letters and flowers for AI.
When the worst happened, Live didn't know how to react and decided to "sleep" for a few long years to forget her.
And if you see how Live sacrificed her entire existence for Masaki throughout the anime, going to a dangerous island, learning to edit video etc.
Live... She has a very strong attachment to Masaki, so much so that one could say that Masaki is the only reason for her to stay alive.
Something curious is that her sisters never woke up Live and they don't seem to care.
