If there is one thing that remains true to him is that he’s ever observant. Even in a state between minds, in that thick fog of thoughts and tiring respite of diminished agony, he could hyper focus on something, anything. In this instance the markings are obvious, though not the almost careful pass of hand over the ink, as if one wrong brush would have the coloring wiped away.
“Hardly.” The word is breathed, raggedly rasped from his throat as he slides down to a sit, hardly able to keep himself upon his feet. The ache threatens to return at full bloom, twitching over muscles and slithering villainously beneath his skin. Digging his fingers into his arm to refocus, he leans heavily to the glass, using it to support his shoulder and his disjointed weight.
“One doesn’t put something on display unless they have some pride in it. Or they want it to be observed by others.” Ironic in those words as even he places on a bit of a display. Not for show, no. He could have easily sequestered himself away from the glass, ignored the stranger, and waited for the quakes to pass. They do, eventually.
“Or…Or perhaps it did mean something that you haven’t entirely let go of yet. If you did…” he trails off, deciding that he doesn’t need to finish that thought. If he did, he wouldn’t keep it on display. There’s no enemy here to need the free rein of movement. Surely he doesn’t expect him to escape this glassy prison, does he? Not when he entered so willingly.
“How long will they keep me in here?”
Words easily gauge Hanzo when the instigator knew which buttons to press. He takes his cumbersome biases and tucked them away. Out of all the people here in the base, he remains the only one in the dark. He had been filled in with the the gist of Reaper’s history with Overwatch, but there are questions that have never been answered. Subtly, he shifts his shoulder from view, sideways glance stern, if only to keep his tattoo from line of sight.
