wanted to say as a fellow writer that i FEEL you on the hot pinterest faceclaims lol!! one thing i like to do is check out the IMDb photos from actor pages or movie pages instead (where actors might be in costume/in a scene or just generally looking more normal rather than like, a photoshoot or magazine spread, y’know?) or i’ll google an actor that i like for the “casting” of the character to see if they’ve ever tried alternate hair colors!! i’ve also found that using GIFs from tv shows or movies also sometimes helps with filtering out all the AI nonsense on pinterest as well

also also using this opportunity to say i’m SO excited for whatever you’ve got cookin’ with Vendetta. you’re just BUILDING SUSPENSE!!!!!!!!! Pinterest is just full of hot people. I go on it and I’m like “okay, I understand why people are like I need to get work done because these people do NOT LOOK REAL!”Why do they all have perfect button noses?! It’s not FAIR!!! And they just have the best angles and perfect lighting and their LIPS ARE ALL FULL AND IT MAKES ME GREEN WITH ENVY GAH!!!

So anyways, I have booked all botox treatments and scheduled my salon appointment for my hair and I will look like them, easy peasy, I also need to hire a makeup artist to do my make up everyday and a fashion consultant to pick my clothes and I will be perfect :)

But thank you so much for the advice!!! Because I need it, I am (as you can see above) LOSING IT!!! And I hate being like “oh she’s a normal girl” like every YA fiction series I read growing up, or wattpad “plain looking with big doe eyes and naturally long lashes who doesn’t wear makeup, and perfect long wavy yet not frizzy hair” LIKE GAH!!! No, I just want her to look normal!!! Like if she tried to look nice she could like nice, but 99% of the time she doesn’t care!!! All she cares about are her muscles on her arms for god’s sake!!!😫😫😫

But yeah the AI stuff on Pinterest I have filtered a certain amount, but it still shows up and I’m like “if I wanted a perfect rendering of them, I WOULD(never) USE AI” I just want inspo ffs—
