Imagine the squares are a majority population and the triangles a minority, the red shapes are hateful bigots and the green shapes are not bigots.
Saying all squares are bad includes the few green shapes and removing all of them won’t solve the root problem, which is bigotry and hate. It will just spread all over again and that hatred can shift to other things and people.
As much as we don’t like it, grouping an entire demographic, minority or majority and trying to eliminate them is bigotry and bias, and won’t solve anything. Getting rid of bigotry is the solution so that everyone can live in a society where no such thing as hatred exists.
This goes for sexism (women v men), transphbic discourse in the trans community (trans mascs vs Trans fems), racism (whites vs POC), xenophobia (foreigners vs natives) and so on and so forth.
If you’re too busy getting angry at a certain demographic instead of trying to forge a narrative against any type of hatred and share a message of unity and understanding—you’re contributing to the problem that is dividing us against the rich oligarchs that are busy counting billions as the world burns.
Unity, not division.
Judge a person by their character, by not the color of their skin, their sex, their gender and national identity.
We’re better than that.
May Peace, Love, Understanding and Kindness be with you.
