So like when Jujutsu society recruits people, do they have to be teenagers to join jujutsu tech?
Like both schools are technically colleges, right? So does that mean some sorcerer could just recruit some 30 year old as a first year because they just joined jujutsu society? Or do they just throw them out in the world?
I'm only asking because the two instances that we know of on adults joining the Jujutsu world are Takaba and Higuruma who both leave to pursue their passions after the story is over.
Do they just not recruit adults? I'm sure it's stated somewhere but I cannot find it.
Could a new first year be someone like this?
"Yasuhiro Akamatsu, 35, married with 1 kid and a 2nd on the way" while his classmate is like 15
For my "What if Sukuna won" au I didn't want the world to be destroyed. It's actually going fairly well in all honesty.
Because Sukuna doesn't bother himself with killing non sorcerers. Yes he's destructive but most places are still fine.
The reason the sorcerers are held up at Kyoto is so Sukuna can't complete the merger. If a few culling game players are still alive then the merger can't be completed, y'know? Sukuna is strictly hunting down culling game players and sorcerers.
So basically Rin Amai can't leave the stronghold, well neither can Usami but for a different reason.
Amai can't leave because he's the last "defense" against Sukuna. Meanwhile Usami can leave because my headcanoned technique for him is called "Seal" which at its most basic form allows him to create cursed seals, warding off any curses from an object.
But he can also make a containment zone, if he makes enough seals and puts them around a certain area he is able to create a barrier that curses, or people with his permission (they need to carry a special seal with them) can enter. But the downside is he cannot leave the zone.
Anyways all this is to say Akari does supply runs while everyone else searches for sorcerers or reinforces the stronghold. It's actually a very pleasant place all things considered.
They sleep in the dorms, although Momo refuses to let anyone sleep in Mai's, Miwa's, Mechamaru's or Todo's rooms.
Yuta was only able to defeat Kenjaku because Takaba wore him out, if you take that away then they don't stand a chance.
Yes Takaba does hold Kenjaku back because of the "red isn't funny" thing, but I think Kenjaku could work around that.
Maki, although strong, I don't think could go against both Kenjaku and Takaba. Kenjaku took out Yuki who, in my opinion, is far stronger than Maki. So she isn't an issue.
Rika could be an issue for Kenjaku and Takaba but all Takaba really has to do is decide that Rika isn't funny then boom she's gone.
In reality this is really Yuta vs TakaKen.
Now we don't have to do it with how strong they are, chemistry wise I think YutaMaki slams, as they have more development together. They also win the canon category which really doesn't matter in the long run.
I, for the life of me, cannot bring myself to like Nanami/Ino and I'm not even sure why? Nothing is inherently wrong with it. It's a legal and healthy ship dynamic.
Perhaps it's because Ino reminds me so much of Haibara that if Nanami dated him it would be because he is like Haibara and not because he is Ino?
Not that I think Nanami would do it on purpose, he isn't that kind of person. He'd do it accidentally. Like he'd hold hands with Ino or something and then for a split second see Haibara. Then he'd realize that he only ever started dating Ino because he is a replacement Haibara.
That he only started mentoring Ino because he reminded him of Haibara. That the entire relationship was built because of a dead man.
Or it's cuz I see them as a father and son duo personally.
I want a comedy spinoff of the Jujutsu clan heirs in a sitcom style show. Naoya is the dad, Gojo is the dad and Noritoshi is the son. Megumi and Tsumiki can be the other kids
In the "What if Sukuna won au" what are everyone's roles?
I wanna know for reasons
Good question anon! I'm just gonna do a simple breakdown of the roles.
Leader: Utahime Iori (as she's the only teacher left, and Gakuganji is old)
Second in command: Usami (formerly Gakuganji)
Doctors: Shoko Ieiri, Rin Amai, and Arata Nitta
Fighters: Hana Kurusu, Toge Inumaki, Kinji Hakari, Nobara Kugisaki, Charles Bernard, Momo Nishimiya, Yuji Itadori, Rokujushi Miyo, and Hagane Daido (Gakuganji and Takaba sometimes take up this role)
Support (cooking, keeping morale up, etc): Akari Nitta, Kiyotaka Ijichi, Fumihiko Takaba, and Yoshinobu Gakuganji (Amai also cooks)
Au where Sukuna wins. Everyone is wiped out. The only survivors were the ones who left the field early or arrived late to the fight, and Itadori Yuji who Sukuna left alive to watch him suffer.
The survivors are: Yoshinobu Gakuganji, Utahime Iori, Fumihiko Takaba, Charles Bernard, Hana Kurusu (by extension Angel), Toge Inumaki, Momo Nishimiya, Arata Nitta, Akari Nitta, Nobara Kugisaki, Charles Bernard, Rin Amai, Kinji Hakari, Shoko Ieiri, and Kiyotaka Ijichi.
Sukuna is wiping out every sorcerer he can so the survivors have to go into hiding, especially because Sukuna wants to complete the merger.
Yuji has been quiet, unable to really talk or do anything. He blames himself for everything. Takaba has been trying his best to cheer him up but it isn't going well, especially because Takaba can't deny that people have died, which isn't funny. Meaning that his technique isn't working well. Nobara hangs out with him a lot. Soon Yuji reveals that before Yuta died he gave Rika to him. But she won't listen.
They've been using Kyoto as a stronghold. Because Sukuna doesn't know where it is, as Yuji never actually went to Kyoto.
Hakari hasn't been himself at all, his girlfriend died in some hopeless war that even Satoru Gojo couldn't win. He spends most of his time talking to Panda, who only responds sometimes because 2 of his cores got destroyed. Sometimes he talks to Momo.
One day when searching for other surviving sorcerers, Inumaki, Charles, and Amai stumble upon Takako Uro. It takes a few days but they manage to convince her to come to the stronghold. Which she does, only for her own safety though. Charles is designated to watch her.
Ijichi has been working on graves for all the fallen sorcerers, even if they couldn't get the bodies.
Usami (that one guy Gege mentioned once, who never showed up in the story) comes back and is immediately brought into the resistance by Utahime, who decks him square in the face for leaving the country when they needed him.
After another few weeks, on another scouting mission, Nobara, Arata, and Momo find Hagane Daido, and Rokujushi Miyo who they eventually manage to convince to come with them.
Angel, when talking to Shoko, Akari, Gakuganji, Utahime, Usami, and Ijichi states that she won't be unincarnating the incarnated sorcerers, because they need them and it would be unfair to do so.
On another scouting trip for survivors, Utahime, Hakari, Panda (Hakari always takes him with him) and Yuji find Hanyu, who they convince to come with them but she refuses to fight, it's for her safety.
Amai isn't happy to see her again.
The resistance is: Yoshinobu Gakuganji, Utahime Iori, Fumihiko Takaba, Charles Bernard, Hana Kurusu (by extension Angel), Toge Inumaki, Momo Nishimiya, Arata Nitta, Akari Nitta, Nobara Kugisaki, Rin Amai, Kinji Hakari, Shoko Ieiri, Kiyotaka Ijichi, Takako Uro, Usami, Rokujushi Miyo, Hagane Daido, Panda, Yuji Itadori, and Hanyu.
I'll prolly do more with this au later. Timeline au is still my favorite
Any follow ups to the Sukuna wipes out half the sorcerers au?
Yeah I have a few things I suppose.
Tokyo and Kyoto fuse as Utahime is the only teacher left alive.
Since Gakuganji is straight up dead they need a new head guy and that's where Usami comes in (the guy Gege mentioned one time and never showed up in the manga) he is the new head of jujutsu society.
Both Amai and Hana officially join Kyoto as students.
Megumi and Yuji both try to isolate themselves because they believe that it is their fault half the sorcerers are dead. Nobara, Inumaki, Hana, Arata, Momo and Amai don't let them do that.
Akari and Ijichi become teachers to help Utahime and Shoko out.
Uro doesn't become a teacher but she hangs around after they tell her that they aren't going to unincarnate her because well they kinda need her help.
It takes a while but she eventually just starts hanging out over there. Eventually they get a few other incarnated sorcerers (Miyo and Daido) to help them rebuild jujutsu society better.
Hakari just leaves Jujutsu society all together. The only reason he remains in contact with them is because of Panda, who he has also taken the liberties of stealing. Eventually he starts his fight club up again but that's after the others track him down.
Charles despite his better interest agrees to temporarily be a sorcerer to help them out. As a side hustle to his manga of course. He ends up hitting it off quite well with Uro and the two are friends now.
Takaba basically does what he did in canon, it just takes a lot longer for him to do so, with the whole "We had to kill a guy" thing. He lightens the mood a whole lot with the group. He doesn't become a teacher nor a full time sorcerer (cuz he's still mostly unaware) but he drops in from time to time.
All around it's a lot more depressing than the ending we got. They have to rebuild everything with very little adults around to help them.
Utahime also starts taking care of Kusakabe's sister because she isn't taking her brother's death well.
They have a big graveyard for all of their comrades who died. Shoko spends a lot of time there but Ijichi and Utahime always go to comfort her.
Oh and they made Usami tell the families about all the deaths because he missed the entire battle.
Au where Sukuna wipes out everyone who was originally on the field (-Nobara, Yuji, and Hana) so the remaining sorcerers regroup to create a plan. Hakari is also alive in this, as he escaped from Uraume. Yuji is being kept alive cuz Sukuna wants to kill all his friends while he watches.
Sukuna and Yuji agree to fight in like a week.
They send Inumaki and Momo to find Uro to convince her to fight and in return they'll leave her alone, and or give her anything she desires.
Hakari, who is depressed cuz Kirara died, has to convince Charles to help them out.
Both agree then they have to brief Takaba on everything so he's prepared and willing to fight.
So then they all go and jump Sukuna.
Utahime and Gakuganji make death binding vows. Gakuganji is used as fodder
Utahime boosts Hana who will use JL on Sukuna. Maybe Ijichi can hide it with his barrier.
Arata and Shoko stay near Inumaki using RCT and Pain Killer on him respectively. So Inumaki can continue to straight up pulling off "Don't move" on Sukuna.
Charles can warn Takaba about what's about to happen so he can make jokes about it (as long as he isn't scared of course.) Takaba is the Gojo in this fight.
Nobara uses her technique on Sukuna's finger continuously. Amai can be there to like idk keep her spirits up? Maybe feed her if she gets tired.
Momo is bringing folks to Shoko so she can heal them.
Uro and Yuji tag team Sukuna with Takaba.
Meanwhile Hakari is back to fighting Uraume.
Because this is my au, they win obviously, and Megumi is saved.
Negi's technique is called "Cursed String" which is basically like Best Jeanist's quirk it allows him to create string using his cursed energy, he can use it to trap people or to alert Negi on the location of others.
Manami's technique is called Cursed claws (work in progress name) which allows her to manifest class onto her hands which she uses to fight with.
Usami's ass gets deployed all the time. He missed everything 😭
Yeah. I had to get him out of the plot somehow. But an in universe reason is because the higher ups trust him so much that they send him to other countries to deal with cursed objects. So he can create new seals for them
