❝---Well, there’s a reason I found you, you know? I don’t really know what that reason is, not if I’m being honest. Maybe it’s the stupid & naive part of me that still wants to know her father, even if he is kind of a legendary asshole. Whatever the reason is I’m here, for now at least.❞

Billy looked at the girl. Her words confused him at first. Then he saw it. In her face in her eyes. Even her damn nose. He leaned forwards. “You’re Sid’s kid??” He asked. “When did?” He’ll trail off when she continues to talk. Billy shakes his head.
It made sense. That night. Billy hadn’t brother to cover up. I mean, he was planing to kill Sid so a condom was not necessary. “Oh my God…” He muttered.
He stood up. “She sat there. She sat there in the court room right in front of me and she never told me we were having a kid?!” His fists balled. A guard walked into the room. Billy sat down. “I’m sorry…” He muttered. “I’m fine.” He promises closing his eyes.
The guard leaves and Billy turns to the girl. “Are you crazy?” He asked. “Are you like me? Or are you like your mom? Please tell me you’re like your mom, sweet, beautiful and badass as all hell.”
She watches the realization wash over him, the anger too. She almost flinches as he raises his voice, she manages not to. Instead keeping her composure. ❝She gave me up, maybe she thought it was better if you didn’t know.❞ She shrugs a little, ❝or maybe she didn’t think you deserved to know.❞ The words aren’t meant to be cruel, but rather more of an observation.
She’s surprised, how highly he seems to think of Sidney, despite her locking him away. Despite all he did to try and KILL her in his youth. She doesn’t know how she feels about him, on one hand she’s angry at her mother for giving her up. On the other she’s angry at him for making her feel like she had to. ❝I’ve been told I’m a lot like her,❞ she says. ❝But sometimes with how angry I get? I figured maybe I got that from you.❞
you look just like your mother i guess i do carry her tenderness well you both have the same eyes cause we are both exhausted and the hands we share the same wilting fingers but that rage your mother doesn’t wear that anger you’re right this rage is the one thing i get from my father

“So are you gonna talk?” Billy asked. “I mean, you’re to one who came to see me. Yet all we’ve done for the past 2 minutes and 12 seconds is sit here in silence.” He looked at the girl. “You look, so familiar.” He says leaning forward. “But I doubt we’ve met before, I mean, I’ve been here a long time, probably longer than you’ve been alive.” The man sighed.
“Spit it out kid.”
Maybe she shouldn’t be here. Maybe she was in over her head. He may have been her FATHER, but he was also a criminal. Eliza, usually so outspoken, so blunt almost doesn’t know what to say to the man. She sighs, meeting his gaze, ❝I’ve been told I look like my mother,❞ she starts. ❝From what I hear, you knew her pretty well. Or you did---before you tried to kill her anyway.❞ She shrugs, tone far more straightforward than bitter.
❝Well enough in fact, that I’m here. Congrats, it’s a girl! ❞ She smiles awkwardly, knowing damn well that that was a shitty joke if she ever heard one. ❝I’m uh---your kid.❞
