He’d wanted to be able to talk to Katherine for a while and he was glad that now he had the chance. “What brought you here, if I may ask," he inquired, looking at the girl.

The vampire let her feet walk along the grass as she moved towards the maze that was near them. She loved walking though them. Her long brown curls fell down as she turned towards the Gilbert. "I lost all of my family in a fire." She spoke, faking herself close to tears, her bottom lip quivered as her eyes slightly filled with fake tears. "I needed a place, and this was the closest city with kind people I could find Johnathan."

“Don’t try to explain that I got not over you or Elena because of the way you look. Maybe I got curious because she’s your doppelganger in the first place, but that’s all. You are completely different, and you know that.” he let out a sigh, the topic had changed, and gone where it shouldn’t go. Not now, never, but now he was in the middle of it, and his pride didn’t allow him to back off. “I wouldn’t have to get over you, if you hadn’t vanished and leave me behind thinking you were dead.” that was the sentence that he had planned, wanted to tell her since an eternity.

As chaos had started with her comeback, he had been so angry, hurt, that he had pushed all this pain towards her with hate – Elena was another story, but sooner or later everything needed to get out, and right in this moment it had happened. Shaking his head over his words, he ran a hand through his hair. He had no idea what was going on, with both of them right now. Stefan felt a bit helpless, he shouldn’t stand here in front of her, and telling her such things. It could turn around faster than he could blink, and he didn’t want another fight, he couldn’t have one.

"I can always try Stefan. I am not one to back down from any form of challenge. You of all people should know this by now." She spoke calmly as she looked towards him. Stefan was a mystery to the Petrova. She always wanted to know how he was inside, not just on the outside. The words he had spoken to her seem all to rehearsed. "How long have you wanted to say that to me Stefan? Say whatever you have ever wanted to say. Now is the time." She spoke, letting her guard down only slightly. 

The vampire looked at a former lover with a slight hint of love and affection glistening in her brown orbs. She didn't want to fight him on the subject, but he deserved to say everything he needed to. She had fallen for him once, and he deserved to get out what he needed to say. She had hurt him but it was for her own safety. "Are you saying you may still have had feelings for me? If I had not done such a thing and faked my demise?" She was though now, confused on the subject that reared it's head between the two former lovers, vampires, old ones at that. The brunette took a breath and shook her head slightly as she exhaled with a slight gasp with a confused tone leaving her voice.
