Kotone was having a little stroll, contently listening to the upbeat music playing in her red headphone. But she got distracted when a puppy dashed directly towards her and sat down. Its owner, a twin-tailed female finally caught up, breathing heavily. A smile broke from the twin-tail as her brown eyes finally met the auburn’s red eyes. And by her own cue, Kotone removed the headphone from her ear, hanged it freely on her shoulder and switched off her music player.

"Sorry if he scared you. He’s a crazy puppy." Kotone almost caught off by the twin-tail’s statement. A smile finally broke from the auburn’s lips, and chuckled.

"Nah, don’t sweat it. I used to have a dog back back when I was living in Iwatodai."

You didn’t know what got into him, but he seems to have calmed down now which is a good thing. You didn’t recognize the other person and he usually would only do this kind of stunt towards Yosuke or someone from the team.

The auburn tilted her slightly in confusion. Well, it’s been a while since she visited Inaba. Wasn't it during her sport fellowship or something? That she remembered meeting the younger Yukiko Amagi. Maybe that?

“Well, not really new. I visited this town once back when I was in high school. Sort of. I can’t really remember.”

Oh. That’s right. It would be improper to not introduce myself while the other had did it. Not that I’m not used to it.

The auburn took a slight bow, as her sign of respect. She then spoke in her usual, cheerful manner.

“My name’s Kotone Shiomi! Pleasure meeting you, Rise-san!”

Is she imagining things or she actually heard the sound of the door slide open a while ago? She wasn’t the one who actually care about her surroundings, but this time.. It’s unforgivable.

She quickly stood from her spot, wrapping the pink towel around her clothless body. Only to see the familiar buzz-haired male, only covered by a towel around his waist standing at the door.

Damn.. What are you doing here, Junpei…

Her face tinted red as she glared at the male.

"Junpei! What are you doing here? I thought the bath’s only for girls at this time!"

Damn it looks like the other guys weren’t really up to going into the hot spring with him after all. Oh well if he was lucky enough he might be able to peak at some girls.

Unfortunately it seems fate was against him today. Once he walk to the entrance to the hot spring he saw that Kotone was already there with only her towel on.

He blush red and rub the back of his neck.

"Uhhhhh would you believe me if I said I got the time mixed up…”

Kotone nodded solemnly. The situation in Inaba has finally cooled down, and it would be the best if the duo headed back to Iwatodai. Their friends might as well need their help in the upcoming events.

"Hmm. Let’s go, Fuuka. I think the battle’s started already in Iwatodai."

Kotone brandished her naginata as she closed in. She is ready. For the destruction she had seen in Inaba, she will surely have her own payback time to the unknown perpetrator. She had seen the worst before, and she will risk her own life for this battle.

"Senpai, I’ll follow you too!"

On Shinjiro’s command, the Garuda streaks down from the sky to pick up the red-haired heroine. “Get sky bound! It’ll follow your orders, but I want you clear in case she detonates!” The newly forged Demon Commander shouted down to Kotone, already on the back of his own beast. The last thing he wanted was watching her caught in the crossfire.

She nodded and made a salute as she jumped onto the bird-like creature.

Roger that!

And now, let's start!

And with that, she whacked the reins, motioning the bird-like creature skywards, evading every attacks possible.

Upon finding a safe point for her to attack the enemy safely, she pulled the Garuda's reins, motioning it to stop. The auburn quickly pulled out her Evoker, pointing it to her own head.

"Orpheus! Bufudyne!"
