Koschei the Deathless he was called, at one point or another. Even he wasn’t certain whether he or the name came first, and by the time he decided to consider it the name no longer mattered. Koschei was dead, and only The Master remained. Lifetimes of bloodshed and madness and agony had chiseled a weapon from the innocent boy he’d once been, and with each new face the horrors carved their way deeper.
Trapped in the Void, drifting helplessly in silence between the flow of Time and the Time War locked away once more by The Doctor’s actions, the Master’s shattered mind began to piece itself together when he was once again ripped free. Whether he is truly healed is yet to be seen…
