Can we just talk about how not only did Terra, the most muscular male character who was shown to be obsessed with power and strength, not only cried in KH3, but the shot of him crying was not only the closest to his face, unobscured, but also the longest lasting shot of any other character crying??

where the shot was so clear and close, you could easily see the red in his eyes, and the multiple streams coming down his cheeks?? i love him??

a couple other things:

like @quincymaru mentioned, he wasn’t ridiculed for crying, it was completely normal, for the others around him and for him as well

he wasn’t crying out of grief, which i feel like in the west is typically the only time it’s acceptable for men to try. he was crying out of happiness and relief that he’s reunited with his loved ones

The Guardian’s Heart -

Terra and that twist in KH3. Ugh, feels everywhere. He’s been through such hell since BBS!

And even though the general policy about spoilers has been lifted with KH3 being out for months now, I do feel I need to say that just in case there’s a few who haven’t gotten through KH3 yet, there ARE mentions of ***SPOILERS*** below that explain how this piece came to be.

I did run into a few different issues with this one. But that’s nothing new for me. Lol.

In short, I was inspired by the events of KH3 revolving around Terra. Learning just who / what the Guardian was. Just so many feels but it was the moment where you see Terra in front of the guardian, or maybe it was through him? I dont know. His heart was shining either way, and that moment was what inspired me to make this and i didn’t want to fade Terra completely in this pic for those reasons so, yeah :)

Pretty happy with this ^_^
