Conan: You have intimate scenes on the show, you’re professionals, you’re actors, I’m just curious, but for the first time that you do that, isn’t that a nerve-racking experience?
Lizzy: Yes, it was weird seeing as I don’t generally conduct myself that way with my friends, generally…and Michael and I were friends.
Lizzy: But he’s professional and I view myself as someone who can be professional, so I thought it’s going to be fine, it’s a pivotal scene, it works for the show, it’s necessary. So we’re doing the scene, things are going fine, I begin the unbuttoning of my blouse, and I’m noticing that I am very nervous, my hands are kind of shaking, and then I grab his hand and then I notice that his hands are shaking and a little clammy and he looks bad and he’s nervous, so it’s sort of making me feel better. And we complete the scene and I place the hand upon my breast and they yell cut….and then he immediately walks over to a garbage can and throws up.
Conan: (laughing) Omg, what happened there?!
Lizzy: Well, I later found out that he had food poisoning. BUT in the moment…there is no way to digest that in a reasonable way so I thought it was a direct cause and affect and my entire self-confidence plummeted to the ground and I decided that I am a monster and anyone who touches me will immediately starting vomiting…
