Lana was hurt by his words. She honestly hadn’t been able to tell that he was falling for her. She knew he cared about her, but falling for her? That concept never even crossed her mind. “I didn’t know Thomas, Honestly. You could have any girl here so the idea of you falling in love with me was never anything I considered.” she looked down stepping away from him, more hurt by what he said then anything.

Sighing Lana knew she had said the wrong thing even as it left her mouth. She could tell she upset him and grabbed his arm to stop him from leaving, “Thomas stop I’m sorry alright. You know I don’t handle feelings well, but I know you as well your just as against them as I am so what is bringing this on?”

Pulling his arm away from her Thomas turned to face the girl. “What’s bringing this on? I’m sorry Lana but your the dumbest smart person I know. If you cant tell that I’ve been falling for you since we met. Then you have more problems then your feeling.” Shaking his head the man took a deep breath. “I’ve been trying to keep my feelings held back just as much as you. But when you told me your feelings for me that wall I had up started to crumble.”

Standing up from the rock Lana took a step away from him, “This isn’t funny Thomas. Just because I told you I was falling for you doesn’t mean you get to try and manipulate me. Besides I’ve been working very hard on getting over you.”

"Manipulate you? Do you really think that little of me? I would never play with a woman's feelings." He said stepping further away from her. "Well good for you Lana, keep up the good work. I'd hate for you to fall for someone who's just going to manipulate you." He spat as he turned to leave.

“I’m not talking about anything recently. I’m talking about all together.” He explained. “I’m talking about the fact that I’m falling for you. And no I’m not drunk.”

“Well I usually only run for fitness.” Lana said putting his hands to her hips. “So what brings you out here? Figured you would be at the gym or back in the dorm.”

Walking out of the infirmary Thomas turned back toward the door. And waved the baby’s hand at the window. “Say by grandma.” When he turned to leave the man almost walked into the person behind him. “Watch it, cant you see I’m holding a baby!?” He snapped.
