I think Sonia and Leon not only are gay/trans best friends i also deeply believe they share one brain cell
one brain cell trans gay/trans lesbian solidarity
WHO TAG THIS AS HIMBO AND BIMBO I WANT TO TALK LMFAO
New trend I’m kickstarting:
Anime girls holding signs calling weebs out on their bs
(Pokemon swsh spoilers)
I dont want to say it...I actually want too. Hatterene said trans rights.
I love this song
Y'all, the "don't turn away trick-or-treating teenagers because they might have autism!!!" is not as affirming as y'all think it is.
It's infantilizing and othering, and maybe people want to keep trick-or-treating because it's a fun way to get a shitton of free candy. It doesn't have to be more complicated than that, and the implication that autistic teenagers are somehow more childlike than their peers is really quite offensive, actually.
I dont like white lgbt people talking only on the homophobic/lgbtphobic problems of Hazbin H otel without even mention the racial problems of the show. I mean the show have a whole brown latina being stereotypical aggressive and over protective of the white girl COME ON (as far i know if it has more racist stuff OH GOD…)
oh yes i forget add that her name is basically vagina and she is also a lesbian. is just bad in every sense
also the character mentioned (vaggie) went to hell bc she was a prostitute. which is… not great??? to say the least.
sex workers are perfectly valid and the implication that youll get sent to hell for being one is awful
This just get worse and worse i swear
bnha is like horrifically ableist and no one talks about it
im gonna talk about it since no one else will i guess
the series opens by establishing that most people in this world have superpowers called “quirks.” izuku the protagonist does not have a quirk. there is a flashback where theres a doctor who like, diagnoses him with Quirkless like its a medical condition, and izuku and his mom are devastated. so even though he’d probably be abled by our standards, he’s disabled in the world he exists in.
izuku spends his childhood getting relentlessly abused by bakugou who has a powerful quirk and the only reason he bullies izuku is because he’s “useless” and “weak” because he doesn’t have a quirk. which mirrors what a lot of ableists think of disabled people in the real world. also bakugou is a terrible character and i could go on a long tangent about why but i want to keep this relatively short.
izuku wants to be a hero but he feels like he can’t because he doesn’t have a quirk. the best hero in the world tells him he cant possibly be a hero if he can’t have a quirk. izuku demonstrates incredible bravery and selflessness by running forward to save his terrible friend from a villain. the best hero says ok i think you can be a hero but only if i give you a quirk!
so izuku’s disability gets cured, a well known ableist trope, because you can’t achieve your dreams if youre disabled, obviously. this is a massive gut punch to any disabled reader or watcher. fuck you if youre disabled, you’ll never be able to achieve your dreams. bakugou stops abusing izuku because he’s not disabled anymore and can fight back. what great character development! /s
(also later its revealed that all might was also quirkless before he got one for all and its played as inspirational or something but its actually yet another gut punch to disabled viewers because it happened AGAIN.)
do you see the problem here? the ableist trope that the entire plot hinges upon? the contempt for disabled people who might have started watching and were naively hoping for a story about a disabled hero? and how ive seen very, very few people actually acknowledge it?
abled bnha fans rb this but dont say shit

if anyone doesn't know: the creator of hazbin hotel, vivziepop, is a pedophile and (i think) zoophile. do not support this peice of media.
vivziepop also defends racists, is extremely transphobic, and ableist. she has “apologized” for everything in the past, but her apology was as shitty as you’d expect it to be, saying "she didn't see the insensitive jokes the two women she drew made on their twitter accounts" despite the fact that she herself called transphobia, fatphobia, and racism an “opinion,” and even goes on to make up excuses for the way she acted.

so my dad is a college professor and he just got alerted recently that in an effort to go “paperless,” the faculty is having their printers taken away. My dad decided to take this opportunity and… create a meme? So he goes proudly up to me and tells me “I created a meme!!!” and lo and behold…
my dad’s first meme
he was so proud of it and he emailed it individually to other faculty and nobody gave him any acknowledgement, he came into my room all sad. pls share to give my father the meme support he deserves
