Summary & Features:
Slice of life, but make it Naruto. It's been 4 years since The Nine Tailed Fox wreaked havoc on your village, and things have, for the most part returned to normal. You start off playing as a genin who graduated from the academy about a year ago. Your team, and your friends teams have only been taking on the lowest level missions, but it's about time to start taking higher ranking ones! How will you maneuver life in The Hidden Leaf Village?

For the ask;
They freeze when they see you. They’re used to people not coming back after so long so while they always hope to see you again a part of them is always assuming you may not return.
They stare wide eyed until you’re standing right in front of them, needing to make sure it’s really you first.
“You’re back…?” Their voice is low and still slightly questioning until you smile and nod.
Depending on your height they either jump into your arms or scoop you into their arms while giggling happily against your chest or neck in relief your here still. With them.
They don’t let you out of their sight the rest of they day, needing to be as close as you’ll let them 🥺
"I'm glad you're okay" but said by someone who has just had the shit beaten out of them, to someone who is not hurt at all, is a brilliant trope and I lose my mind every time.
appreciation post for characters who can say “at your service” in a tone of voice that suggests they will gleefully do anything within their power to cause problems for you on purpose
I’ve officially decided my favorite relationship trope is “at first I was perpetually bothered by your mere existence but somewhere along the way you became my best friend and oh yeah I’m also in love with you.” Nothing else matters.
big fan of characters who look cool and tough and stoic but only because theyre internally thinking "fuckkk what do i say. how do i make friends. they didnt teach me how to do that in sword school."

It’s definitely still happening I haven’t given up on it! There’s a lot of asks I have on that blog I need to answer all at once on that blog I promise I see them!!
I just haven’t been in the Naruto mood lately so I haven’t had the vibes or inspiration to write much of it 😭 but I haven’t forgotten and haven’t given up!!
