Spring trout is officially on!
Little River by Elkmont with Fly Fisherman by coloneljohnbritt Neutral Density filter (probably 64x -I think my 1000x would have needed a bigger aperture) and polarizing filter. Yes, there is a fly fisherman in this image - near the top right third. He is squatting down to check the kind of insects floating down to determine the fly he should use. He has on light waders, and neutral shirt and a neutral baseball hat. He had also met with some remarkable success that day - or maybe it was his friend. I tried a square crop, which looked nice, except I hate losing viewing area - even to accommodate the Flickr partiality toward pan and landscape aspects. So it will look quite small in the normal viewing mode - and if you want to find that fisherman, you’ll have to check it out at original size (or close to it). Once you’ve spotted him, then you’ll be able to pick him out at the Lightbox viewing size. http://flic.kr/p/pUucrv
