Notes from Indianapolis
Two Woobats followed me today. Going to adopt them, I think. Both are rather runty but too cute to resist.
The waits in the mall food court are longer than I'm used to waiting for food. Never did I think I would have to wait ten minutes to get my burrito, and yet, I did. Joke's on Taco Bell, I grabbed a handful of EACH SAUCE. We'll see how slow you make my burrito next time.
TARDIS.
Weather in the area is quite terrible. Found myself leaving in a rainstorm with only my folder to keep me dry. Will have to discuss dealing with this with Zager.
Off to Indianapolis for intel
I've been sent to Indianapolis to gather some intelligence about the area. I'm not sure why Team Rocket wants to venture out so far from Unova, especially in a backwards Midwest hellhole (as I've been told it is) but there must be SOME good reason. I'll document my two day mission here for the sake of record keeping.

“I could be better,” she said. “Ariana, what are your agents like?”
“My agents? they’re normal, get the job done, for the most part.”
She looked over at the woman curiously, “having some agent trouble?”
"More like all of them," Matori said. "They're so... difficult. They never seem to follow instructions I leave when they come in here to work, and the ones who are sent here by their captains barely look at me. I have heard they fear me, and I don't mind that, but... perhaps I'm too mean?"
Matori & Ariana.
Ariana knocked on the woman’s door quietly, knowing she could hear her. ”Matori, its Ariana.” She waited for the signal to open the door and enter, after all she hated when people opened the door to her office without knocking, it really pissed her off, when the woman let her in she smiled and sat down on one of her chairs, ”i came by to check up on things, how’s work treating you?”
"I could be better," she said. "Ariana, what are your agents like?"

Matori patted the Meowth on the head. “This is quite the adorable Meowth you have,” she said. “Did you raise her yourself?’
“It was given to me on my birthday this year, so yes so far I have raised her by myself though My mother has never been fond of cats.” He mused at the Irony of it all but he still had her, The meowth purred but stayed with Rival, rubbing up against her hand, “You have a liking to cats?” He asked curiously.
"I don't make a big thing of it but I do appreciate cute things once in a while, and I have a deep respect for cats. Cats are aloof, they are precise, they are elegant, they are everything I aspire to be. I've looked after Giovanni's Persian once or twice and I must say it was a pleasant experience."

“Do you promise not to litter?” Matori said, dangling the bottle just out of his reach and smirking. She admired the nearby Meowth and used her free hand to reach out to pet it.
“Yeah, Yeah Matori whatever I won’t ‘litter’,” He scoffed at the woman, pulling back his hand from getting the bottle, whatever its not like he wanted it anyways it was just for his knees. Though Meowth looked skeptical she sniffed her hand and leaned her head out for Matori to pet her, Rival didn’t question it.
Matori patted the Meowth on the head. "This is quite the adorable Meowth you have," she said. "Did you raise her yourself?'

“Interesting…” *He mused as he tapped his finger against the desk.*
“I know a few of you but the others…Would you mind introducing yourselves?” *He asked quietly in a commanding tone.*
“Afternoon, sir,” Matori said, smiling cheerfully, with a slight bow. “Anything I can do for you?”
“Ah Matori it’s good to see you. As long as the reports are in good order we’re in good shape. However, it has been a while since last we spoke is there anything new that I should know about?” *His tone is professional as he sat at his desk shuffling through a file about the recent disaster of a gamble to secure a foothold in a new region.*
“Petrel, Ariana, and Proton are present, although I’m sure you were aware of that,” Matori said. “There seems to have been some Plasma presence, however. That boy-king of theirs N started some trouble with me earlier and has a rather sharp tongue to him.”
*He pondered that for a long moment.*
“Plasma hm? Well they have a terrible sense of time it seems. I was hoping to deal with another problem but if Team Plasma is getting uppity we may have to focus our efforts on them. So N has been making a nuisance of himself has he?” *Giovanni looked over at Matori.*
“What kind of trouble did he give you?” *Giovanni asked Matori intently. Knowing the topics N brought up would provide him insight into the kind of person he was.*
"At first I gave him a fake name," Matori said. "We discussed his status as Plasma king for a bit. He denied having any part in the Castelia disaster and I asked him why he simply didn't stand up to his father's actions if he despised violence as he so claimed. He said he was unable to defy his father. I called him a spineless coward unfit to rule. Following that, he managed to deduce my true identity. I stood my ground and let him know that so long as they did nothing to us, we'd have no reason to start things with them. He proceeded to mock me and eventually insult me in lewd ways."
Matori shuddered, remembering the things N had said. Though at the time she was unshaken, that was still language that wasn't to be used around a lady such as herself.
"That's about everything, sir," she finished.
Hm… I see… So you make a profit at your lesser worker’s expense. Good plan.
He fixed his glasses and turns his tablet off, setting it aside.
"I am no expert, Corless, but isn't that business in general? Team Rocket may be a criminal organization, but the acts we commit are no different than any more 'respectable' business. It just happens we use different means to reach our ends. Means the law enforcement authorities disapprove of."
