I read a comment on reddit once which was something along the lines “psychopaths don’t differentiate between the love for rice and the love for a person” and this hit a bit too close to home.

I can definitely feel love, but love is that kind of feeling for me that it can be applied to ANYTHING. I love my dog the same way as I love my boyfriend, and I love both of them the same way as I love pizza. People always talk about how there are many different kinds of love, how they love their friends differently than their partners, but for me it just all feels the same. Doesn’t matter if we’re talking about food or an actual person, the feeling feels completely the same. 

I am aware that people are not the same as food, but I just can’t tell the difference between those feelings. Love is love for me, it’s all equally important and I don’t understand how it can feel differently. How do you even know it’s “love” if what you’re talking about if it feels so different?
