Continuing the Apprentice AU megop series after TFP

TFA!Megatron works under Solus Prime! While being a highly skilled craftsman, his talents truly shines at being an entrepreneur. He handles businesses of the Forge. Meg still dabbles in forging and maintaining gadgets/weapons but mainly for himself. However he can never quite say no to a certain enforcer

TFA!Optimus is a model law enforcer- he's strict, committed to ensuring justice and never out of line. To him the law is absolute, and not even a certain little brother figure would receive mercy from him. He and TFP argue about his harshness quite often.

How I imagine it, Optimus keeps breaking his grappling hook and goes to the maintenance centre so much he developed a crush on the guy working there. It's quite obvious and Megatron thinks it's cute, he's been waiting for the little enforcer to ask him out

While in the show Megatron is very aware that Optimus is a Prime, in this fic (due to different circumstances) that specifically is something he doesn't know. To Megatron Optimus is a repair bot he once got stuck in a cave-in with, and thus seeing him standing on Ultra Magnus' side in an important meeting is going to be a suprise.

If you're referring to my Tfa Warframe Optimus AU, I don't think I've posted it on Tumblr yet.

But I can fix it now!

After the episode where Optimus was deactivated for a moment and Sari revived him using the key, something strange happens to his frame. He is no longer a truck, but for some reason, a warframe.

This is stressful for Optimus, so he and the team try to figure out why he turned into a warframe and how fix this.

Meanwhile, Megatron wakes up and discovers from the security footage that the Autobots have a warframe. This makes absolutely no sense to him, and he’ll try to turn that “Autobot” into a Decepticon, as it should be.

The encounter:

Optimus prime stood against his enemy — Megatron, who had worn a demeanour usual to their battles. However, the easy attitude never got in the way of her cut-throat senses.

Optimus clenched her axe, visualising all the ways she would slice at the tall con.

‘My. Little Autobot, you seem awfully focused.

‘Have you finally gotten your optics checked? I have used a new polish for my mesh grooves, leaves a nice texture on the waist and hip junctions.’

The blue and red femme sputtered in surprise?

‘ You think I care for insignificant things such as waist polish, decepticon?!’ She lunged at her opponent. Axe powering on, the battle officially-

‘Oh, you’ve gained some weight, haven’t you.’ The warframe femme sighed in relief, taking a cushy tone of conclusion, as if she solved a mere puzzle.

‘Huh?’

Optimus staggered, uncharacteristically. Her mind doing a flip along with her fuel tank. Suddenly the rest of her day — before the battle — started to bleed into her vision: snide remarks and Autobot glances, cold, and oh so judging. Waves, one after shook over her frame — making it harder for her sturdy pedes to balance.

Her servos shook, energon rushing to her cheeks, dropping her axe like a toy.

‘aaah’ did it even matter now? The battle?

All she could think about was, how right Megatron was.
