I exist.
Iām a man.
Iām transgender.
Iām a transgender man.
I wonāt be erased.
Things that donāt invalidate your gender:
- The age you figured it out.
- The age you came out.
- The age you transitioned.
- Your voice.
- Your height.
- Your chest.
- Your genitals.
- Your name.
- How you present.
- Your religion.
- Your political views.
- Your familyās views.
- The gender of your friends.
- Other people.
- Or any other things that you are worried about.
You know you better than anyone. You are the one who knows your gender. And nothing can invalidate that. And if you change in a month, year, or ten years, that doesnāt invalidate the feelings that you have now.
So many CHANGES š
Yo so Iām just shy of 7 months on t and Iām FINALLY starting to feel comfortable in my own skin and love how Iām looking. Iāve been working with a nutrition coach for 10 weeks and have lost about 8 lbs so far. My shoulders are def looking more defined, so are my legs and upper arms. Also, THE BODY HAIR IS UNREAL! Like, legit, I feel like I woke up one morning with a forest on my legs and stomach, Iām starting to get black hairs on my chest and shoulders due to the gel and Iām starting to like it. Iām not mentally prepared for back hair yet. Iām also going to include a pic of my baby facial hair since Iām still proud of it.
Harry Potter tweets always make me smile.

6 months on T!!!
So Iām just shy of 6 months on t and HOLY SHIT does it feel amazing. My voice has dropped, I feel better with each and every day that passes now. I switched to gel due to some anxiety that surfaced with self injections but nevertheless I am still receiving my hormones and highly recommend gel! Itās easy, daily, and with insurance can be very affordable; without insurance I donāt recommend trying to do gel (for 3 months w/o insurance it would have cost ~$1100!).
Iāll upload a nice little side by side pic comparison later. 6 months has gone by so fast and right now Iām loving it. I started crossfit this pst week and flexible dieting about 6 weeks ago. Combined Iāve lost around 10 lbs I think and have been watching my body transform as I burn off fat preparing for top surgery HOPEFULLY this winter. š¤
I have stretch marks.
Reblog if you do too. Just to prove that it is more normal than what people actually think.
Trans struggles
With all of the good that comes with transitioning, there comes some frustrations and irritations. For instance, Iām closing in on 6 months on T which is AWESOME, but Iāve been having thoughts lately of how I missed out on so many experiences growing up because I āwasnāt a boyā. I always wanted to play football... I had dreams of being one of the key players that everyone could rely on. I wanted to be a more of a basketball player. I wanted the steretypical attractive guy body (newsflash I still want this). I wanted to be able to walk around shirtless after a game...
