Just rewatched a couple of Toy Story movies, and I couldn’t help but draw a couple snippets of the iconic duo.

I just recently watched Tekkonkinkreet, a 2006 animated Japanese movie, and it was a wonderful experience. It had a lovely, albeit dark story with good characters and fantastical shots, and amazing art and animation.

Ooo yeah, this one is a toughie, just because of how many characters there are, but I’ll make art for some of my favorites, and answer them through text.

Anyways, Rooster will most likely have kept working as a farmer, tending to his family farm and such, because I can see him enjoying this lifestyle regardless of circumstance. Queen might have remained in his previous profession of lounge singer, though maybe moved up to be much more of a professional, who knows, maybe owning a club! Also, queen and rooster, totally dating. :)

Olan, I feel like he would eventually quit his job as a door to door salesman and be a bar tender instead. He might be going to counseling for his family, or flat out divorced, because he seemed to care very little or was unhappy with his domestic life with his wife and daughters.

Brad (assuming that this might have been a happier Au) might have proceeded with running his dojo, if Buzzo didn’t destroy it or Dusty having been Hurt. If it did happen, then it might take a few years for him to build that confidence back up again to be a teacher, and he’d need a lot of rehab. Along the line though, I can see him meeting Terry, an aerobics/ yoga trainer for the elderly, and Brad offering to give light martial arts classes for them too. Eventually they might open the dojo back up and both work together, Terry helping with stretches and yoga, Brad with martial arts and the like. The students always tease their master about fawning over the instructor.:)

Nern may have continued working in the library or become a history teacher or something of the sort, because I can see him being able memorize the entire history book and running his mouth to his students with his insane amount of knowledge.

SO! This actually the fun part of this AU for me, Mao Mao is basically on the run from the sky pirates for quite a while. This leads us to Dark Heart Valley, home of the Ruby Dark Heart and the citizens called the “meanies”. It’s a bustling kingdom of aggressive villagers that fend off others from the Ruby Dark Heart. It’s basically a hidey-hole for villains to lay-low and disappear.

Mao Mao and his former hero-partner Badgerclops decide to lay-low here until the Sky Guardians leave. While they’re trying to lay low, they run into Adorabat and some of the meanies trying to fend off way-ward heroes.

After defeating the heroes, Mao Mao and Badgerclops are offered the role of “Enforcers”, but they turn it down. Until the Sky Guardians show up and trouble starts up. Mao Mao and Badgerclops are ready to bolt, but a lone meanie takes off to face the Sky Guardians Head on, Adorabat! Now ,Mao Mao, is a villain and he has lived his whole life in villain-y and doesn’t have time to stop and help one pathetic little child, but he already has his sword ready and is jumping on his areocycle. (God he is soft and weak especially for people who can’t stick up for themselves.)

After defeating the Sky Guardians and crash landing their ship, Mao Mao decides to take up the offer to become an “Enforcer” and decided Dark Heart Valley is a great place to set up camp for the moment ( not because he enjoys the praise he gets or the fact he can keep an eye on Adorabat under the guise of mentor ship nope.)

Lisa RPG tags

Kay, so, anyone else having an issue with seeing posts under the Lisa tags? Cuz there’s a lot of posts not making it onto the searches. Like I know @blubird513, @joyhigh have posted stuff, but some stuffs not showing up on the searches, you gotta go into the blogs to find posts. If anyone else is having this issue, feel free to say so, so people can come check out your stuff!

Okay, so about two weeks ago, I was taking a little walk outside my house, when I saw these motorcyclists. One had this red, rusty, old look. The other one was a hot pink with white accent bike. I got an idea. I fished out some old designs for bikes I made a couple years back, and repurposed them for this. 

I gave Alastor a really rustic, old bike with dear furnishing and detailing, and Angel a hot pink cargo bike. Also gave both biking outfits, because why not. 

Also, it’d be a sin to not put a little side care for Fat nuggets. Look at ‘im. He’s happy as can be!

Okay, let’s be honest, Terry probably wrote an entire list.

Ahh not sure if these are still being accepted but do you have an idea of what the characters in your childhood au would look like a bit oldsr, like teen age? I don’t think I’ve ever seen depictions of lisa characters as teens so im interested to see if you’d thought about it any :0

Ok, I had to give this one some thought because to be honest I didn’t really think about what they’d look like as teenagers, like, time period wise. 

So I would suppose that the Lisa games take place in the 90′s, and they’re roughly in their middle ages/ mid-thirties according to Brad’s own age, so they’d b be in their teens in withing the 70′s. So I took some inspiration for clothing from that era, given that 80′s would be their 20-25 years. 

I based them off some older movies i’ve seen from back then and music videos. Brad is specifically inspired from Rocky, and in regards to looks, i think he’d started growing in a beard by teens because by his 20′s it’s already really big. Terry and Olan, are bell-bottom KINGS, but Olan rocks it like he’s some guy from the breakfast club (On a side note, I think Terry would’ve had to cut his hair short at some point, leaving him with a more fitting 70′s hairstyle). Nern, can’t see him wearing anything too flashy, so he’s more of a sweater/turtleneck kinda guy. So yeah, that’d be my take on them! 

Also, cute little BradTerry thing at the bottom, I couldn’t resist!

Steven in the original series, was honestly such a interesting take on “wide-eyed kid hero”. I can still remember where I was when I saw the first Steven Universe episode. In my old house, up in the attic with my older and younger siblings. When I saw that first cookie cat and heard that jingle that first time, I was entirely charmed. 

The Steven universe series as it progressed had many arcs for it’s characters and the most subtle was Stevens progression on where he stood between his life as a half gen, and half human. His struggle with relating and finding a life between these two groups was a fresh take on a coming-to-age story and it was done very well. 

As for the series as a whole, while it had many up’s and down’s, I think there is one thing I can say with confidence when it comes to Steven as a character, is just, how sad it was to see the after-effects of the trauma Steven faced in his journey, and seeing such a happy character lose that charm that drew me towards the TV to see another episode. To some degree, I’ll always miss this Steven.
