Dear stranger things fans Byler won’t be happening as both Mike and Will are straight, I find the theories and analysis behind the Byler ship interesting but I’d like to inform you that the queer coding behind Will was unintentional .when I was first writing the show I never intended him for him to be gay,myself and Ross always thought of him as a Janis Ian like character where people assumed he was gay and picked on him for it just for him not turn out to be straight in the end. I hope you won’t be too disappointed next season sincerely Matt Duffer.
