Fun facts about volume 2

-the white liquid that Jonathan and Nancy broke up in was cum.

-if you pay extra attention to detail you’d notice that Argyle,Ted and Karen were actually present during Will’s coming out scene.

-Robin,Vickie,Murray,Joyce,Steve and Jonathan were also meant to come out in solidarity of Will as a parallel to radio rebel but unfortunately Noah and Ross shot that idea down even though I a straight male know more about the queer experience than Noah because growing up I never had a crush who reciprocated my feelings.

-Vickie was meant to play a bigger role in volumes 1 and 2 but we decided to cut down her screen time in favour of the military.

-Vecna was originally meant to team up with the Russians from seasons 3 and 4 but that storyline was shot down because Netflix began worrying about what sort of message it would send to its Russian fanbase

-Kali was meant to turn into the mindflayer in episode 7 because she was going to be set up as the secret twist villain. myself and Ross were then sat down by Netflix executives and questioned why we made the one woman of colour into a secret twist villain.

-Max Mayfield but was originally meant to be blind but I thought that we had enough representation in the show.

-Lucas and Robin were meant to be killed off in episode 6 but we were then questioned why we wanted to kill off the two of the only poc and queer protagonists.

-Will Byers was originally meant to apologise for being gay and would have been sobbing hysterically on his knees as he begged his friends and family to forgive him for his sins it was meant to be a wholesome coming out scene about being forgiven for your sins but apparently it was insensitive to include. (I’m not woke enough for Netflix I guess)

-Ted Wheeler was meant to wake up from his coma, escape the hospital, venture into the upside down to kill Vecna and rescue Holly and the kids but apparently it is more impactful for the main characters of the show to do that instead.

ILY Will Byers but you have reached pretty large levels of delulu. 🤣 He really thought for all of five minutes that if he flirted with Mike, then he would leave his 2-year gf for him, who is his sister btw, who saved his life btw, who is now trying to find Mike’s missing sister btw. Mind you at least Steve considered flowers 🤣. The bylers still think it’s a win though even though Robin used one of their favorite words- parallel, to Mike and Tammy Thompson, her straight first crush, 🤔 might mean something, or that Will finds his powers after being rejected, in similar fashion to El getting powered by the ily monologue or Max and Kate Bush.
