Here’s another look at Yuji Sakai’s sculpt of the Shin Godzilla shown in three versions, and alongside the Universal Studio version of Bandai’s Shin G figure.

Here’s the larger Bandai Shin Godzilla figure. It’s solidly built and shows a bit more heft in the body shape. I wonder if this will show up in the States soon. Articulation aside I think it makes a better display item than the NECA, but why not have both? Here it’s pictured with the standard sized Bandai Shin figure as well as the Yuji Kaida sculpt.

Bandai’s version of Gaira from War of the Gargantuas arrived in the mail today. Looks nice, I’m going to wait for his brother to arrive before taking him out of the bag.
