Welcome to Trinidad & Tobago's national final for @amerivisionblog, dedicated to Turt for speculating on the idea that maybe Nicki Minaj isn't the only Trinidadian in the world, so here are some bangers by people who live in Trinidad & Tobago:
Also important note!! In Trinidad & Tobago, the term "loose" means that someone is a good dancer, specifically with hip swinging, NOT that they're promiscuous! Very relevant information for the first song!
The semifinals of Eesti Showdown Throwdown are now closed, and we have a result! Of the 14 songs in the semifinals, I've decided to only have three songs in the final, since these three excelled significantly more than the others.
The finalists are:
Púr Múdd ft. Grete Paia - "Ainult Unustamiseks"
Fredi x INGA - "It's Not Me (It's U)"
Hellove ft. Zack Gray - "Off The Edge"
For the final, simply cast a vote for as many or as few of these songs as you wish.
Also, if a song you especially liked from the semifinals was voted out and you're not cool with that, there's also a write-in option that you can take advantage of! Heck, you can even vote for a song that's not part of this national final at all, go nuts.
Vote here: https://forms.gle/TfUQPLfLMKBKQMFg9
The final will be closed on Saturday, July 16 at 11:00 PM PST, so be sure to vote before then!
Hi everyone and welcome to Eesti Showdown Throwdown, Estonia's national final for @tmblrvision 2022! We got indie! We got folk! We got k-pop inspired rap metal! We got it all!
We're going to start with two semifinals, which will be open until Wednesday, July 13 at 11:00 PM PST.
The final will combine the standouts across semifinals (so if one semifinal happens to have much better songs, that semifinal will have greater representation in the final). Thanks everyone!
Hello from 107 Camilla! Like I did last edition of @spacerockvision, I'm deciding my song by hosting the second edition of Almostvision! Almostvision is a national final composed of songs I almost sent to contests at one point, but for whatever reason I did not. Let's see the songs and why I didn't send them:
1. The5 - "Hannini" is a song I almost sent to Tmblrvision 2018. I initially claimed Lebanon with the hope of internally selecting one song (now representing Lebanon in alternational), but realized after claiming the country that it was a hair too old, and had to frantically find an alternative while in Cuba. Eventually Bosnia & Herzegovina, one of my backups, freed up, but if it didn't, this song would have represented Lebanon in Tmblrvision 2018.
2. Sena Dagadu ft. Sarkodie - "Yo Chale" was one of my main backups in Tmblrvision 2019, when I claimed Australia. I started planning a backup national final for Hungary, and this was the song that prompted me to have Hungary as a backup. The artists are from Ghana, but Sena Dagadu lives in Hungary as an immigrant.
3. Majedalesa - "Hwages" is a song I planned on sending to Politivision, but the contest never returned.
4. Crimer - "Hours" is a song I first heard not long before Tmblrvision 2020, when I had already planned to send Yarkhushta for Armenia. I debated a lot whether I should send this instead, since I thought this would do better, but I liked Yarkhushta more.
5. Bon Entendeur ft. Isabelle Pierre - "Le Temps Est Bon" lost my national final for the French edition of languagevision after the most stubborn tie I have ever had in my entire life. So I'm giving it a second chance.
6. "OUCH!" - Nxdia is a song I was excited to include in my national final for Genrevision, both because of the Arabic lyrics and because it didn't seem as risky to send as my other options, but everynoise sorted it out of the escape room genre before national finals opened, making it ineligible...
Welcome to Saudi Arabia's national final for @asiavisionblog! We have seven songs competing for the chance to represent Saudi Arabia this year.
As the name implies, most are on the indie/obscure side, with most having less than 10,000 views on youtube (and one with only 29 views as of right now). They are:
1. "Dabbil Al Daasa" by ana.n7n
2. "Zy Aleasafir" by Mojoiam
3. "Million Miles" by Hamza Hawsawi
4. "Minarets" by fulana
5. "Alhenna" by Bayan
6. "Esh Sawet" by ana.n7n

Return Of The Jordan is over, and we have a winner!
Will it be the Arab pop song Bas Yo'Borni by Nedaa Shrara?
Or the pop rock song Nater by Aziz Maraka x Adonis?
Or the saxophone-filled alternative song Msh Sa2el by Luay Hijazeen ft. Adlib and Zaid Abu Hijleh?
Or the atmospheric indie pop song Minni Ana by zeyne?
Or the rock song Metfaje' by Akher Zapheer?
In the results presentation, rankings of the voters represented the jury, and the televote is made based on the voters' ratings of the songs.

Welcome to Return Of The Jordan, Jordan's very first national final in @tmblrvision history!
Jordan has a history of less than successful results, and hasn't been present in the contest since 2017, but now they're back with a mission to bring home a better result than usual, and to showcase the diversity of the Jordanian music scene!
This national final will start with two semifinals with 8 songs each. To vote, rate the songs in one or both semifinals individually. You also have the option to disclose your favorite song in that semifinal. The songs across all semifinals that received the highest ratings will move on to the grand final, in which voters will rank their favorite finalists. The winner will be decided based on a mixture of semifinal and final results.

Welcome to INDIE-A, India’s national final for @asiavisionblog 5! With this national final, we are focusing on both highlighting India’s independent artists as well as India’s many ethnic groups, highlighting artists from Tamil Nadu to Karnataka to West Bengal to Punjab to Kerala to Delhi!
Puerto Rico will be represented in @amerivisionblog 2020 by Hurray For The Riff Raff and their english-language song Pa'lante, which means "move forward" or "persevere". The song focuses on many of the issues that Puerto Ricans face today, both natively and on the continental USA. Alynda Segarra, the queer woman who fronts Hurray For The Riff Raff, says that while the song is primarily targeted at Puerto Ricans, the message of hardship and perseverance extends to women, the LGBTQ+ community, all ethnic minorities, and anyone who has been victimized for aspects of them outside of their control. So, to anyone who has experienced poor treatment because of who they are, this song, Pa'lante, is for you.
as a reminder, the songs competing to represent Kenya at @africavision were "Doing Her Thing Tho" by Fena Gitu, "Malaika" by Nyashinski, "Saying Goodbye" by J. S. Ondara, "Suzie Noma" by Muthoni Drummer Queen, "Niombee" by Bensoul, "Brighter Days" by Sauti Sol ft. Soweto Gospel Choir, and "Whatchyu Want?" by Murfy's fLaw
in 7th place
with 20 points
was
"Malaika" by Nyashinski
in 6th place
with 22 points
was
"Niombee" by Bensoul
in 5th place
with 34 points
was
my personal favorite, "Saying Goodbye" by J. S. Ondara
in 4th place
with 42 points
was
"Doing Her Thing Tho" by Fena Gitu
so the top three were Suzie Noma, Brighter Days, and Whatchyu Want?
in 3rd place
with 49 points
was
"Suzie Noma" by Muthoni Drummer Queen
the top two, Brighter Days and Whatchyu Want?...
actually tied
with a whopping 72 points each
so to break ties, I looked at which song got more 7/7 scores
and there was a tie
so I looked at which song got more 6/7 scores
and there was a tie
so I looked at which song got more 5/7 scores
and it was still very much tied
so I looked at which song got more 4/7 scores
and there was NOT a tie
which means the winning song, which will represent Kenya because it got more 4/7 scores
is
"Whatchyu Want?" by Murfy's fLaw! Listen to the winning song now:
