Ah, to break in a new planner is always such an exciting feeling. All the new possibilities. Fresh spreadsheets for the year as well. So lovely. Speaking of new possibilities, I want to get to know all of my Academy mates better. What’s something you all always do on the 1st of January?

You definitely got all of the organization out of this friendship. How are you, Alina? Have a good New Years celebration? Have you taken all those decorations down, or are you the type to leave them up through January? I’m basic, I never do much of anything on January 1st apart from recover from a hangover, which I obviously don’t have to worry about here. Which one of you geniuses over at McKinley thought it would be “good for the cause” to destroy perfectly good food instead of taking 30 seconds out of a 24-hour period to ask either myself or another Dominant for it? For those of you on my side of the fence who don’t already know, I’m referring to the situation in the Dalton cafeteria where the most edible thing here is currently Cheerios — the few I didn’t manage to step on because they’re all over the floor, anyway. If anyone would like to brainstorm punishment ideas for when the culprit is caught, feel free to reach out.

I think brainstorming punishment ideas for the culprit is a fantastic plan. Count me in on it. It’s very obvious not enough of an example is being set by our peers, and someone isn’t paying enough attention in classes or to their textbooks. I guess they require a more hands on lesson plan, and it’s high time we actually stepped up and provided it.

I’m not saying I’m gearing up to join the rebellion or anything like that. I just mean…I get it. How someone could be so frustrated, and angry…Angry enough to do something like this. I don’t know. [Taking a deep breath, Gen pushes herself forward, pressing a quick kiss to Matt’s lips as her hands briefly run up his body, before settling back down on her knees, her eyes focusing on her hands in her lap].

[Matt hadn’t even really had the chance to respond when Gen had moved in and kissed him, even if just briefly, it had still caught him off guard which wasn’t something he was quite used to. He blinked and watched her move back to her knees as he processed it, then moved forward and rested his hand under her chin, tilting it up before giving it a gentle squeeze as he locked eyes with her. He leaned in after a moment and pressed a more firm, lingering kiss to her lips before pulling back once more.] You’re lucky you’re cute, but you should still be careful who you talk to like that. I know what you’re trying to say, but others might not. Of course the system favors Dominants, it’s true. But that’s just how things are, and if this person ever gets caught... it’s likely they’ll never see the outside of a dungeon again. They’re going to be turned into an example for the entire campus to see. The thing is, the system is built a certain way, and far more people support it than oppose it. As such, you’ll save yourself a lot of pain and turmoil by embracing it, and building happiness within the confines of your position. As for these other forms of entertainment, I’m all ears.
