My first prompt for the @gameofdrarry Drarryland game:
Drarry + undercover aurors + at either 1) a dance competition -OR- 2) a theater production -OR- 3) a cooking competition - do not use the color green
Auror partners Draco and Harry were sent undercover to a dance competition- unscrupulous wizards were trying to get muggles hooked on a potion/drug and were using the high pressure world of competitive dance to fish for victims.
Much to their surprise (well, more Draco than Harry’s), this was not competitive ballroom dance, but contemporary dancing. Harry, far more familiar with these styles of dance, and with the help of Hermione (who, to the surprise of many, is quite the dancer herself), entered the competition thus allowing for the partners to hunt for the potion/drug ring undercover.
Much to Draco’s amusement, and Harry’s surprise, Harry ends up winning the competition. Trophies won, ring leaders caught, it’s been a good day for the duo (and if Harry used this opportunity to show off for his crush, who’s to know but him?).
To me Harry is one of those natural athletes who, though their innate talent, have a good sense of movement (something Harry has grown into as an adult) and pick up on new physical activities fairly easily
Hermione, though uninterested in sports and most things athletic, did take dance as a child, and has a great sense of rhythm. She’s the type of person who just knows a lot about a lot of things -learning for learning’s sake- and is also able to absorb new things easily. So, with her dancing background, coupled with books and YouTube, she was more than capable of coaching Harry
Harry wins because he has the Devil’s Luck and a mad desire to impress Draco (who is impressed, as well as fascinated by these odd muggle styles of dance)
