Patch needs your help today. We are happy to regularly bring you updates and work to have your dashboard filled with cute IT dragons. But we’re currently having troubles finding a main artist, somebody who picks up the blog again and gives it a regular schedule again.
We were counting on the amazing Edi (go check him out, his art is seriously awesome) to help us out, but sadly he has been unable to take on the job due to himself being way too busy.

Since I’m out of ideas and the hunt for an artist is extremely complicated - I’m picky with the styles and anatomy and we’re somewhat demanding due to the schedule. We wanna crowdsource the search.
If you know an artist who is up to the task of the blog, has enough free time to make a little Patch sketch regularly (once or twice a week doesn’t sound that hard before you have to do it for months or years) and enjoys the Patch humor, then send him towards us.
The Patch style is pretty sketchy, it’s cell shaded and focuses on expression and Patch’s somewhat weird anatomy. No need for backgrounds, extensive shading or accurate details.

The artist needs to be able to make it to finish one Patch in less than ~2 hours. This is important, not because we are keen on having stuff done fast, but because otherwise the payment we can offer is not gonna be good enough for the person.
We are looking for somewhat seasoned artists, with some experience and who are comfortable with manipulating a character and it’s poses.
We don’t expect you to help us for free. First of all, the artist gets a nice and stable job, with fair and on time payment. They’ll have time off and back up artists in case of vacation or sickness.
If you’re interested to know more about our budgets and expectations, ask us (not anonymous, so we can answer in private) about them
And for the person referring the artist, we’ll sponsor you a full colored and shaded commission from the new hire. You choose what goes on there (as long as it’s SFW). They just have to tell us that you referred them.
To apply, just submit a link to your portfolio page on our submit page. You can also upload images directly. You can add a little cover letter to help us understand what you like about the job and why you feel you’re a good fit.
