Do you think a man my age could get to this point without making friends with a human or two? I hardly even met any other nations until the 1900s, the only people I knew (aside from my sisters) were humans. I always became close with my neighbors every time I moved from shtetl to shtetl, but I was always became particularly close to the rabbis.
