With her mind drifting to a strange white-lad figure that she wasn’t totally convinced was real, Bridgette couldn’t convince herself to simply abandon this feeling she had. It was still there, she still felt like she was being watched – and it made her heart beat a little faster, and not from the adrenaline of running around earlier.

She called out again, turning to face fully to what was previously at her back, blue eyes scanning for anything that could give away who else was out here. She paused, frowning, her brow furrowing just above her scarlet mask.
❝ I’m not looking for a fight – it’s safe to come out.❞
Something told her this wasn’t just some civilian, at the very least.
Poo.
His lips pursed, grumbling quietly to himself-- maybe he should just scurry home before he gets himself in trouble. His father wouldn’t be happy if he found out he was out so late, so he found himself turning to leave. And yet, the idea of getting to talk to Ladybug -- to get information out of her -- made him pause his retreat, instead poking his head up to give away his hiding spot. He didn’t say anything for a time, simply satisfied to stare at her and let her know he means no harm.
After a moment, he ducks his head back behind the chimney, taking a deep breath and slowly stepping out of his hiding place, hands up slightly to show his weapon wasn’t in his hands, the white belt tail swishing behind him as he walked.
❝ ...Nice to finally meet you face-to-face, Ladybug. ❞
